Syria's Assad uses Kurds as part of 'Plan B'

As part of his "Plan B" President Bashar al- Assad will try to tear Syria apart by playing ethnic and sectarian groups against one another -- including Kurds , Sunnis and Alawites -- expert Joshua Landis claimed on Friday in his blog Syria Comment .

Sallidin who led the Muslims in conquering Jeruselem was born in a Kurdish family.
The Kurds used to have their own empire .

I wish it were that simple, it would sure save a lot of turmoil. The Kurds are not the enemy and have turned down invitations from Assad to fight the Rebels, instead they too want Assad out. I think the Kurds are wanting peace now, even with Turkey they are finding peace. Yes there is some extremists making trouble but the majority are not.
