Swiss is racist society?

Having lived the last 20 years in Switzerland, I have to disagree with the racism statement. Of course there are some splinter groups and racists, but hey, you'll find some ignorant people all around the globe.

And for those notorious UDC posters with the black sheeps and the hands grabbing the swiss passports, maybe you should take a look at how the elections went out.. all of those campaigns were rejected ;-)

This is so dumb and silly, I can't even think about where to start.
I've been in Countries all over the world. I lived here and there and also in Switzerland, and This is one of the LEAST racist places in the world. Geez - don't pick on single stories wou heard from someone who heard ot from the sister of his cousin's friend and make up your opinion for a entire Country !

The Swiss People Party ( far right wing ) won the last federal elections thanks to xenophobic campaigns, its strategy is to target the immigrants non-european, so because Swiss people are ignorant innocent they believed and voted for the racist party.

Switzerland is a neutral country. I am in this
country since 1978 and had wonderful opportunity to work with Swiss people. They are straight and
very correct and thus, quality oriented nation.
For a foreigner, quite a big challenge to integrate, but once you master it, you will be

This is a comment for make laugh the small children my dear friend.Switzerland will never pay the 15 percent of what Saudi Arabians offer for their foreign workers.Swiss people pretend to be gentle with everybody (it is not anything else than being a solution for hidding their violent discrimination)but they pay very bad for their muslim immigrants.Please go to study this case again.In according to swiss people there is no difference between a atheist person from a muslim country or an extremist muslim individu.They put all of them in the same pocket and then they go to give great international conferences about human rights by pretending to being the most neutral place on this world.This is your beautiful Switzerland man...Wake up...

Hey man...Your description about Switzerland is more than perfect.So you must never go to Switzerland.Because the swiss people hate very much the people know them well and they organise all kind of traps for those intelligente strangers to bring them down.The worst is they are the best specialists for walking on the snow without leaving any footprint.So i wish good luck for all the well educated and free minded strangers of Switzerland.Unfortunaly they need the help of GOD much more than swiss churchs.

From my experience, yes, Switzerland is a racist country. I just recently finished an exchange with a Swiss boy in Geneva who was extremely racist along with his family, especially his Dad. When I got there I showed them the yearbook of my school where there are alot of new Canadians and the first thing he said was something negative towards Asians. He then went on to complain some more about how Asians are taking over the world. When we were with the Swiss boy's friends, they were constantly making derogatory comments about blacks and gays which I hated.
In the Canadian half of the exchange the swiss boy was also very racist. Whenever we would go through chinatown on the streetcar he would say antichinese slurs in public! He also told me and my friends that he prefers Switzerland over France because there are less Arabs. My mum and friends were astounded at how racist he was.
Now obviously not everybody in Switzerland is a racist or a Nazi but from what I saw and experienced, Switzerland is more racism than most western countries.
