Swiss Parliament takes aim at immigrants

Of course, that Swiss political party should not use any unkind words or pictures in its campaign to limit immigration. Many thoughtful people, however, understand that many Swiss people are concerned that too many immigrants (many of whom do not share traditional Swiss political, religious, or social values) many endanger the stability and tranquility of that beautiful, peaceful, and prosperous nation.

Good for the Swiss, the rest of Europe needs to follow the example.

Switzerland is not neutral anymore. Sweden is much better!

Zurich is fulled of snotty upper class and racism is rampant there!

Switzerland is not a racist society against immigrants. We would love immigrants from Canada, Australia, the U.S., Japan, France, Scandinavia, but we don't need people from backward states like Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Somalia, Arabia, besides what can these sub-humans offer us?

Sorry to disagree profusely Pierre (and due to ignorance, really wondering who the subhuman is??) Im a canadian living in small town switzerland with a swiss boyfriend, and despite living in many cities world-wide, switzerland is an xenophobic hot bed. Many swiss hate and openly chastise americans (which makes many equally unwelcoming towards canadians (unable to differentiate the differences in culture). The german speakers also hate the french speakers and vice versa. Theres always exceptions as Ive met many lovely swiss, but overall life for foreigners is challenging.

I feel sorry for Canadians in Switzerland,Pierre Maeder it is realy sad to see Cyprus forget Turkeye.

Small is beautiful. Xenophobia towards "Big" is a side affect. Little dog Switzerland barks, big dog U.S. bites. None of them is better than the other. The target of the black sheep poster has absolutely nothing to do with US or Canadian citizens in Switzerland. Interesting...the Swiss have meeting centres in all major cities, the Amies have "The American Club"the English have their "English Forum" and all the other ethnic groups have a meeting place, except....you guessed it Canadians.

You're wrong Timothy and American. All money here in Switzerland comes from development crountries. Switzerland doesn't have anything except chocolates. They must shut up and acept all foreigners.If our money doesn't stay here anymore, Switzerland disappear.

If Around the world and For you are unhappy in Switzerland then let them pack up and book a direct flight to Mogadishu or Mecca.
Now regarding For you's comment about "our money", the only reason your leaders trust their money in Swiss hands is probably because it is money earned thru corruption and also they do not have faith in their financial system.

Your words are senseless. Just because certain indivicuals live in third world countries, it makes no sense of you to say that these guys are "sub-humans" and can make no difference. If you consider "just" reading the western world's history, it were the muslims who originated from the eastern world to make such great discoveries on which the western world is successful today. The crime rates are so high in the western world including switzerland, are not in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt or Turkey. Furthermore, these "sub-humans" are actually the ones who can change alot of things in Switzerland.

It is already too late for Switzerland and way too late for the rest of Westen Europe. Remember the end of the Roman Empire. The west is collapsing from within - societies are being willingly given away to anyone... Who cares whether you become poorer with no foreigners - you will be safer.

Disappointed: Geneva is not dirty because of foreigners, there's no money left to clean the trees and chemein forestiers where nobody goes. if you live in switzerland, you know what i mean.
When i was a kid they even clean the trees to "waste" money or to "keep people busy". Later some of the people called Switzerland: "Le paradis des travailleurs" "Workers' paradise". Now Switzerland has to work as there are more countries with what some on this forum call "subhumas" who work harder.
That's capitalism baby, and no free lunch anymore and no cheap oil, grains etc...

Ok I am not racist, but I have to say that I dislike most of the people that Pierre Maeder describes as sub-humans. It's nothing personal, but years of hate. As far as imigration We should have a United Europe that does not allow outsiders to come in-(With a few exepsions)
