Welcome, Rajiv. I am a second-generation Indian raised in Trinidad. Now a US citizen, having lived most of my adult life in America. Indian culture is very strong in Trinidad, Guyana and Surinam. I have visited India, met Satya Sai Baba and Swami Muktananda, checked out extended family in Bangalore and Mysore. Sad to relate, Trinidad today has become plagued with crime and unsafety. Truthfully, I wouldn't advise you to go there. |
