Why Do the Sinhalese Ridicule the Suffering of the IDPs?

I have noticed the bandas here (punc, PA, harini, etc) all ridicule the situation of the IDPs. It reflects bad on their personality. We all have made race mockery but none of us Tamils here ridiculed the suffering of another as a defense.
