Oh Sky! 324mm does not equal 3.24m, which would be biblical rather than epic!

"It's like a water world," said Benito Ramos, head of the government's disaster response agency. He said the rains flooded 50 percent of metropolitan Manila on Monday evening, and about 30 percent remained under waist- or neck-deep waters Tuesday.

Yes a water world with many TURDS, they like to play with them.

now they think they can beat China, LOL!!

Let me see, The first rule of being in a difficult hole: stop digging. China's construction equipment sector is doing the reverse.

A decade-long investment boom is winding down in China. Year-on-year growth in fixed-asset investments has slowed from a peak of more than 33% in the summer of 2009 to just over 20% so far this year. Sales of construction equipment have plummeted. Excavator sales were down 19% in June from a year ago, the 14th straight monthly decline.

Foreign firms ...
You are brave alright You're so brave you do what hitler did and more, hitler had axis power but you alone against the world. That's brave man or maybe just plain idiocy stupidity and nuts. Sorry..

this is now the result of hard headed PILIPINOS engaging in illegal loggin, destroying their forests. this is nature punishment. every year the floods get bigger and deeper. so as long as they keep cutting down their trees for greed, soon the whole country will be flooded. not only this btw, some if not many PILIPINO fishermen also engage in dynamite fishing and cyanide fishing. lol.

as long as studid PILIPINOS never learn mother nature will keep on punishing them. like the squatters who live in the riverbanks, drainage system and throw their garbage in the the drainage system. even average PILIPINOS throw their garbage anywhere and not use garbage disposals. soon the whole country will be a garbage. lol... so PILIPINOS are into self destruction of their lives and environment. due to dysfunctional government and people.

The Philippines doesn't believe it can defeat china. The Philippines is a country that has an image of being a helpless tiny weak nation that needs UN protection. Let UN ships patrol and enforce international laws to protect the Philippines from China.

I'm afraid that such troublesome weather might become an annual and weeks long event for the Philippines.

Guys, you could do better than that. Let's not argue about china over phines or vice versa. We've got our own problems to solve and maybe instead of arguing for a non-sense topic which all of you can't solve or even make a difference by showing off, maybe you could think of lending a hand to those helpless people who were badly affected by the catastrophe or if not, maybe you know how to pray to save your souls.

I can help some of those Filipinos, it's easy just move. How many times do they need to be flooded to realise they are living in the wrong place. Certainly a bad time to pray as when you are kneeling the water will be over your head.

These floods this time was the worse. Went way past where you live or even the drainage. I moved to real high ground last year and still had to sand bag my front porch. My old house was under water. Hell the only way to escape it is if you live on a mountain and even then your under the threat of land slides.

This is just one of those things but when the rain stops it won't drain because of the garbage.

And you have Chinese blood in you so that makes you a filthy breeder as well. The Philippines is practically owned by the Chinese anyway with SM Mega Mall and other big businesses. You're a miserable idiot. LOL!

Ive been hearing Marikina is a disaster. Sit tight no use in trying to get around you could end up in a worse position. Ive been watching the weather system that's causing this on satellite and it has not moved yet so there might be more to come.
