Uncle Burnham,m bolinga, and you call your self " half-dead" is a reflection of how limp your d$ck is as you try to maintain what s**t is left in you. So, who is more "G@Y" or they call you batty bway,whatever.. Gee, you want to tell all that you are g@y and so you feel everyone else is g@y like you. You have insulted the lady, and now you call her "friends", how pathetic. An a**hole , like you should never be making comments, as everything you say belong to a cesspool of "sh*t". Coming from your mouth, it appears you have been washing you mother's panties for a long while. So, I guess you are suffering from post-traumatic symptoms.
First of all allow me to thank you for your generosity and your extremely kind and complementary words.
However I must ask:“ Robby what are you doing?” The person you are reacting to uses many aliases and fluctuates between extreme hostilities and commonsense. It is beneath you to engage in a debate in like manner.

I myself have lost it in my comment on the Amerindian thread. What we fail to realize as Guyanese this web is worldwide and comments remains for the entire world to read and may remain forever. Strangers reading our comments forms an opinion of us as a nation hence my caution.

Ah, we poor mothers, we are blamed for everything our offspring does. Why are the fathers not blamed also?

I agree we are all free to comment however we must still practice civility towards each other. We are not obligated to agree with each others views, we can thrash them although while doing so we refrain from attacking the person. Everyone must remain in his/ her own integrity.

I am not looking for compliments, nice when I receive them though, all I want is for us to debate respectfully with each other. I have read some of your comments and you make sense, then you turnaround and lash out in the most vile manner. You can be one of our assets on this forum, you have knowledge that you can share with us, we can help each other contemplate matters from different perspectives but will fail if we degrade one another.

veronica thank you again love . as i said how i feel bout you and what i say bout you are 2 different things . you are right . i need to be more civil with you . who knows you can bemy wife lol.you know i love you . anyway we shouldnt spend more money on a falling old hospital. some times we have tomake a sacrifice . we have tpo give up some things for betterment . if that hospital is torn down and flowers and trees are planted just about in the middle of town . how beautiful that will look. with benches. children and adults can take a lil rest after a long journey/walk. veronica even me and you can go there sometimes and relax. thats an ideal spot for having a "GARDEN" in NA .

Well said, Veronica, Uncle Burnham is a well educated person, but when he mixes his words with vile languages destroy his true merits and what he wanys to express.
You know, I am very busy man and sometimes I do not have enough time to come here, but I do love to come here and exchange a few comments. I have always enjoyed reading your comments, we do have our disagreements, but that is how we learn. Whatever, I say about you, that's the way I feel, maybe indoctrinated in the old school of thoughts, which were very good. The fact is, when Uncle Bur. made those comments, I just had to respond to him. Some of his response to you look FAKE. And I think he is trying to sucker-up. I think he is a bit deceptive, but his opinions about that hospital, I also feel that it should be demolishe and cleaned up to build a brand new medical center there.
Take care my friend.

The Hospital is indeed part of the town’s architectural heritage. Preservation should be naturally the first choice; however utilization might be a better offer. It would be more feasible to preserve and even renovate the building, while housing or even gaining revenue from its use.

ronald horsewack you shouldgo live in new amsterdam near the hospital for a while . go near it at nites . look at it in the morning . its like a big ghost house . of no value . its value is gone . pictures will be ideal to keep. but its taking up space . breeding rats and criminals . full of germs . who needs that in the middle of a town .

I was born at that hospital in 1966 and moved to NY a very young age. Over the years, I have often visited sites to see this hospital and the beautiful building it is. Recently, some relatives went back to Guyana on a holiday and I was told that the hospital is closed for patients' services. My goal is to raise money to see that this hospital gets refurbished and reopened to serve the local community or to anyone that may requiew medical assistance. After all, it's absolutely a beautiful building and I am proud to say that I was born in that hospital. My mother actually remembers the ward she was in.

it looks like a ghost house and will remain one .who will spend the millions to clean it and refurbish it . its realkly infectious . i lived next it it for many years . dogs used to go feed on human body parts and that hospital got so many dead tales to live with . time for it to go.

agnes there are times when we have to say goodbye . i know what you mean . but emotions cant help. i lived next to it for many years . i know how filthy it was .it would be much better if it was demolished and rebuilt to serve areas of stanleytown , islington , glasgow etc as an emergency unit . it shouldbe of such that people can sleep overnight till morning when the doctor arrives . it looks very scary right now .im sure the dead still crying to have it demolished .

Robby my dear friend we understand each other, and my dear I've been around the block a couple of times, so I am fooled when I allow myself to be fooled or that person will have to be real good in which case I will admire it immensely. I love disagreeing with others, they are food for thought.

A new hospital is already built, it's all about the preservation of the building.
