I was told that he was convicted of attempting to overthrow the government. Standing alone, there's nothing wrong with using violence to overthrow an illegitimate government. Now, as to whether he killed women and children, if that's the case, and he knew that his actions would lead to the death of women and children, then I would agree that he's a murderer. But, if the death of women and children were accidental, then his actions were no different than any other conduct that takes place during the course of a righteous war.

If you fight an army, you are a rebel. If you wage war on civilians, you are a terrorist.
Bombs wet off, killing people including babies.

Perhaps if you were familiar with South African Law and the legal systems of many other countries you would understand the concept of socius criminis, this is a scenario wherby an accomplice/associate/ ader and or abettor to eg murder can be found guilty of the crinme of murder. Now we have accepted that fact... Don't talk shit about "righteous war" ..you sound like a stupid muslim mental case fanatic. Facts Mandela is a murderer by virtue of being a socious criminis. Mandela has incited murder of the whites, a legitimate occupant of the country Mandela has never denounced the crimes of the anc from the beginnings of the anc to the atrocities in Angola , Church St, Magoo's etc etc etc ...Nothing, the miserable bastard has said nothing, he is guilty by association of all these crimes ....

Today by comparison it is 19,000. 167 - 19,000 Maybe now a light will go on in that vast dim cave your intellect is supposedly hiding.

If you don't think so, then we have nothing left to talk about.

Of course it was wrong. Some evil shit happened during those days, but the facts remain the same.
During apartheid between 1948-1990 an average of 167 murders took place every year. This includes all violence such as the Sharpville massacre.
Today we are all free....hooray!!!
But we have an average of 19,000 murders per year.
MY QUESTION:
* Would you agree that measuring deaths by murder is a good way of comparing the brutality of specific times.*
In other words, can we say that 1940-1944 was more brutal than 1930-1934 for instance, if we look at the number of artificial deaths that took place.
You know....to use MURDER as a yardstick for evil. BECAUSE MURDER happens to be the most extreme expression of evil, as you cannot kill someone twice.

I don't agree that murder is necessarily the most extreme expression of evil. For instance, I would argue that, in our country, the evil surrounding slavery is just as evil as the act of murder.

Fact is the ANC had deliberately targeted civilians in their reign of terror.
This makes them a former terrorist organisation.
