The idea of medical parole is only,in my view, right for terminaly ill convicts. However it has now become a political tool that is in the favour of commrades, friends and stuggle icons. This makes a mockery of the judicial system as every one should be equel before the law, no matter your polotical bias. This is hardly a disputable fact as trhere are numerous exampes in our media.

I dont agree with medical parole at all...if you do the crime do the time. No matter what your health situation becomes, when you commited the crime your healthy and the fact that u are in prision and dying is no concern of the public.

I feel that medical marole has become biased in recent years. It only seems to be given to those whose fingers are in the pockets of government and the rules are not adhered to across the board for all prisioners. It is corruption from start to finish and only the wealthy win the race.

While I agree with ShayLazaar in that medical parole should only be handed out to those with terminal illness, I believe that the grounds should be solid. As a community we expect those who break the law to be punished. With that said the public is now forking out millions to pay for prisioners HIV, Cancer or any other medical treatment. Prisioners who are truly on death beds should be allowed to die with dignity. Of late it appears as if the government has allowed the parole board to release those with money or connections. So no, there is not equality.
