and whatever other foolish name is used that racists on this forum call us. Basically, to all my black/Afro-whatever people on here, I have a request.

No doubt, if a racist talks $hit about us, we have the right to fire back on them. Once people are making dumb claims about our people, we have every right to defend ours.

HOWEVER, we need to stop creating dumb threads about Somalis trying to disrespect them. It's one thing to react to ignorance. It's another thing for us to be the cause of conflict. Fact is, we don't need to degrade Somalis. Think on it:

Has the idea of Somali supremacy ever been a concern to us in the real world ? Has the AA/Caribbean/African population ever really had to worry about our societies seeing Somalis as superior to blacks ? NO. Somalis are ONE ethnicity from the horn of Africa who are seen by many as just that, one African ethnicity. No more, no less. They aren't given any special status in the West that blacks aren't and they aren't promoted as superior. They are people just like everybody else, we all know this and the racists probably know this to.

By creating threads trying to bash Somali civilization, trying to prove they are black, trying to prove their ancestors were slaves, running after their men/women, etc... we are giving Somali racists a reason to believe that the Somali ethnicity is more important to us when in reality, the Somali ethnicity is just one of many in Africa.

You are the voice of reason King Spade. I don't think you picked the right title(because it will attract the wrong kind), but i do hope people take note of your words. It's difficult to bite your tongue everytime people degrade your background, many Somalis that are cool with other Africans are being pushed into the direction of the racists.

None of the sane Somalis here believe we are more important than say a Yoruba or a Massai, personally i would be content if the entire forum was cleaned off foreigners except for the respectable ones that are proud of their own heritage and don't feel the need to fabricate history, degrade, or insult us.

Well, the title was more me mocking the terms I've heard racists call my people on here. If it does attract racists, they should have enough sense to realize that my title is making fun of them....I hope.

Also, both sides are getting pushed to one extreme or another by racist comments and it's dumb. But aside from that, too much emphasis is being put creating threads to devalue Somalis when, truth be told, there is no need to. By doing that, we look the way the white trolls on the AA forum look when they create their threads. We don't need to do all that.

I'll bring it to any idiot who wants to disrespect my people but that's as far as it goes. People who don't disrespect my people, I respect them. Fair is fair.

not all somalins are mixed some are mixed with arabs but most are not.

True and that's another reason why creating threads to bash Somalis is pointless. The real problem are the racists/ethnocentrics and they come in different cultures PLUS they pretend to be just about anyone.

My king spade brother from another mother, lol, thanks for the respect. I remember that thread in the AA forum. I made one like that in the AA forum too looking for some kind of Topix peace between us and Somalis. We both had the same fate. lol. I came over here after months of not posting here and I done had to bring it to some Caribbean haters in some other threads.
