This is such a silly thing to say. many people would wish to be Somali, I get the english, syrians, pakistanis, indians praising us constantly. As for the state of our country, every country goes through turbulence for long/short periods of time, if God permits just look at Palestine, they'll be enduring the same struggle/conflict until the end of time. Somalia will not be, god willing, it's just a phase, it's improving daily.

If you think being Somali is all about hijacking boats and murdering innocent people then you are mistaken. Every culture has a bad seed not matter what your ethnicity is. Somali's have a rich history, being one of the last African countries to be colonies and continuing is fight for freedom long afterwards. Out ethnicity is testimony of the migration around the world; some of us can trace our anestory to babalonian era.
