Mo Farah has a white wife but Xaliimos aren´t mad. Why is that?

I´ve been waiting for the hateful comments to flood in ever since his historical Olympic gold win. But to my surprise, the Somali sisters are completely indifferent to Farah´s interracial union. I wonder why that is?

My theory is that Somali girls only hate if a Somali guy marries a non Somali chick who is hotter than your average Somali chick. So my own answer to the question is:

You Somali girls don´t care about it because she isn´t a physically attractive. We can all agree that she is not a trophy wife material.

She is actually mixed race.

I have no interest in Mohamed Farah so I don't really care who he choices to marry. I would have preferred it if he married a Muslim sister but he didn't.

Maybe we just don't care who other people marry. there is nothing wrong with marring someone you love

A muslim man can marry a non muslim woman marka waa iska caadi. I would have preferred if he married Somali woman though

She looks really down to earth and she's a muslim. It could have been worse. I think we've reached a point in time where being a muslim is sufficient.

nobody will mind if he takes you as a second wife.may be that is what you are expecting.

@ SomaliAgnostic, it is you Somali men who raise hell about Somali women marrying foreign men and now you´re questioning why we don´t care about Mo F´s marriage to a non-Somali?

We just don´t. It´s that simple. We don´t feel threatned or overlooked if a Somali man marries a non-Somali woman. Our egos aren´t that fragile. If a brother finds happiness outside of the community, then good for him, we don´t begrudge him that.

Why don't you guys make a fuss that his wife was earlier married to a Jamaican aka "Bantu" guy? Or, Somali guys marry the leftovers of Jamaican men and make a huge drama if a somali girl marries a Jamaican bloke? Why the hypocrisy? Who said she was a Muslim? Umm that's not true. Majority of Somali men and women do care for each other. Somali men aren't ugly and it's quite shallow to judge people on their appearance.

Mo Farah is a Somali, a professional athlete and he is an individual in his own right. It's his life therefore it's his choice who he marries. They're s beautiful family and I wish them all the best.
