She ask us which ones were pretty and my friend picked some and I was like no no no ur wrong these are better. Her mom laughed and said I was right and that I know hiw to pick a dirac bc im isaaq. She was wrong the only reason I knew this was bc I payed attention to what was going on in the house. Also, I told my little cousins to clean their room and when I checked the room I didnt like the way they did so I told the girl (age 7) to do it again and the boys (ages 13 & 14) I decide to do it for them bc "biys dint know how to clean." so I can be a bit of a sexist sometimes too but what im saying that in a typical somali house hold a young girl gets trained and socialized to be a traditional wife. Since I already have this mentality and experience its not hard for bme to understand the reason why the marriage roles are perfect and should be practiced.
