Are you aware that the cop in question was held in high regard by most people on the island? I don't think he was racist at all... do you really think a racist man could live and work amoung an aboriginal community for as long as he did?

The link posted above is a load of rubbish pushed by lefties who hate their own race. The fact is that a lot of Aboriginal problems today are caused by Aboriginal leaders screwing over their own people.

Another big problem is the hand out "victim" attitude many aboriginals have. They are brought up and taught that nothing is their fault, it is all the fault of the europeans. Then if they don't get everything handed to them on a platter, it is because Australia is "racist".

A PNG forum is the last place someone should complain about Australia. PNG was a much better place when under control of Australia, it has gone to hell since they attained independence.

PNG should be happy that Indonesia isn't in control, or it would be just as bad as West Papua.

To quote the Brits of the 19th century as being "racist" is not completely true, the 10s of thousands of people sent out to Australia in chains, those who didn't starve on board the "convict" ships, were worked, beaten, and flogged to death, were mostly from the British Isles. I disagree with you Roboam Geroboam. Being Chinese and living down under I don't find Australia is being racist. Sure there are some but majorities are not racist. Let's cast the past again and think as a new generation. Australia is made up of multiculturalism and people are generally nice people excluding what Pauline Hanson says. People like you try to separate the nation. I think everyone should be paying tax regardless of what your nationality is. Sorry but my opinion is the only people that can control land is the government of its country. The past generation was long gone. We can not live in the past. we can argue for ever but that's not the point. Most of white people are borned in Australia over several generations and they don't get the same treatment as native people of Australia. How can you clarify??

Thanks Roboam Geroboam for your genuine respond. I am just trying to be fair for everyone. No one like racist comment. My mother always taught me, you can dislike a person but you don't hate the whole race. We all make mistake and we must learn how to forget and forgive about our past.
I agree with you that there are some racism in Australia. Infect I had encountered with a group of teenagers passing by calling me name like "Chink go home". Yes it did hurt my feeling but I was not holding my feeling to against white people as we all brought up differently in different envirnoment. Why because I know those young teenager will grow up one day and will intergrade with other culture then they will understand about human nature.

I must disagree with you Robaom Geroboam. The land of Australia belongs to ALL AUSTRALIAN regardless of its colour. True it used to belong to Aborigines but you are talking about over many generations ago. Many black Australians were all long dead. This not not a racist comment. You can take an example. Saigon used to be China and the rest of the world knew that and it recognize as Vietnam today. You can go on and on. You can argue as long as you want to but does not resolve anything. So let's face the reality. It's now call Australia whether you like it or not Australia is make up of all different culture. Many people from all different background were borned in Australia for more than 300 years ago should they be classified as foreigner?? How can you justify that? Wake up Robaom Australia is not a Black Land, it belongs to Australia and it's colour blind. Black Australian should be paying tax like everyone else.
