Our View: Three new choices for San Marino

Thanks for including more information on the candidates than the Tribune did, but wow, this article is pretty snarky!

It starts out with "three new choices" and winds up with "there is not going to be any change whatsoever". Well, which is it?

Whoever wrote it (anonymous on the website) obviously resented having to spend the time, or maybe just resents San Marino.

San Marinans approve of change when it is thoughtful and beneficial. That doesn't include "sardine living" with apartments and condo complexes, or "strip malls" or shopping malls, which there are already plenty of, thank you.

It also doesn't include opening the flood gates to students who live outside of the city as South Pasadena has -- sacrificing education quality for increased state funding (and class size); a loosing proposition to be sure!

Rather than attacking San Marino for holding the line on idiocy, why not point out those communities that haven't?
