Seriously... God has shown His people how to prevent these diseases. Seventh Day Adventist's live an average of 7 years longer than the general public and SDA's who are more serious about their diet live about 11 years longer than the general public as determined by studies in California. I am not trying to put anyone down or blow our own horn but am making a statement that when anyone follows the health principles as outlined in the Bible that they live longer. Those principles are some 6000 years old. Only God could have known what we are just starting to find out about health all these years latter.
And by the way... take a minute to ask yourself an honest question.... do you "really" like what is inside of you? Seriously?

His4everFriend LOL...the only cure for dis-EASES is eating right! It ALL has to do with what you put in your mouth. Thats the only thing people who get body dis-EASES have in common, is it not? The medical system is a corrupt system. They know this, but if there were no dis-EASES then there would be no money made. Its all business. You get sent to the doctor to pay a bill who doesnt cure you, who then sends you to the pharmacy who gives you INSTANT pain relief for your symptoms who ALSO make money off you. THINK about it. As for your stats, do you know who conducted the research? I would put money on the researchers being themselves 7th day Adventists or at least getting a cut out of doing that work :) 6000 years ago 7th day Adventist didnt even exist. They are borrowed information from other religions before them, just like the rest of religions. Its not about whether i like what is inside of me or not, all that matters is that its the truth! Now why are YOU afraid to go inside of yourself? Do you have some dirty skeletons in your closet? Well, thats what you have to deal with, because its YOU! Going on with your life doing bad things then coming back to church to WASH away your sins? come on now... thats a cop out. Karma will always get you! Now, were you born into your religion? Will you even have time to find that foundation? I am praying that God will grant you that time. There was a day that I mocked christians and was where you are now... I would not trade places with you for anything. What hope do you have when you face cancer or a heart attack? Is religion some prop that gives false security? No way. Christianity is not us seeking after God... it is God seeking after us and our willingness to surrender... or not.
Jesus said... behold I stand at the door[of your heart]and knock... if any man hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and sup with Him and He with me. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. He wants you to come into fellowship with Him. Christianity is not about going to church... it is abou6t having "fellowship" with the living God. That is why I am a christian and that Is why I KNOW that it is true.
I realize that you likely do not hear His voice right now... I didn't when I mocked SDA's... but... the day came for me and it will for you. In that day you will discover that you will hear the voice of God Himself as you open the words that He has written in His own book the Bible.
His4everFriend I know you are sincere in your heart and God bless you! But to submit to another's ideas and leaving your own to rot in the back of your head is something I don't appease, accept, nor sympathize with. It's a crutch, bondage, a mental shackle, and a restrainer of FREEDOM... You have duped yourself into becoming a blind believer and will continue to lie to yourself of this so-called greatness and reward that you will achieve at the end of the so called tunnel... yet still haven't been able to prove..
