I have spent so much time in the search to find just a surname of my great grandmother who came from Saint Helena to Cape Town. If anyone can advise other websites to continue this search and where I can trace any other relatives. Her name was Louisa Lawrence: born 1862 and died in Cape Town 1942. I have a gut feeling that her parents were Jacob and Martha (nee Yon)Lawrence. Info needed as to when they left the Island and whether there are still relatives on the ISland. Help would be appreciated.
