This is true but I doubt we could have avoided the war either. Not after Russians started demanding things in 1938. They wanted us to end up like the Baltic countries.

Three million German soldiers as POWs it seems more than your bombastic
nation including women and children by then.

It was located in a place with no strategic important. Fact still remains that stalinists such as Molotov and Voroshilov opposed pulling out troops from Austria and ending the occupation, Kruschev did not. Kruschev was also the man who gave nukes to Cuba and latter pulled them out, gave Crimea to Ukrainka republic and pulled troops out of Romania. Yeah. Idiot but a man Stalin and Kaganovich lifted to the top.

I see. From Tarnobrzeg on both sides, the father and mother's?
Ah, yes, you've even mentioned their surname. Were they Armenians/of Armenian origins? I mean this was a popular surname for this group (as well as the likes of Teodorowicz, Antonowicz, Pawlowicz, Krzysztofowicz etc.), not exclusive to them though (some say it was, Polish alike surnames being derived from the older form of "Stefan" - "Szczepan", but I don't believe that), of course, and with Tarnobrzeg being in the Austrian partition were the Armenians in Poland used to live and the family being of a higher profile (as you've pointed out; the Armenian families were usually rich families with rich social life and even with connections to nobility or being nobility) there is a quite a possibility they were.
Oh, I must precise. Of course, two million dollars would give you a significant handicap (in fact, two million zloty alone would as well). You could buy quite a few nice flats in, say, Warsaw and rent it, or about anywhere and plethora estates to choose from.
But if you wanted to start a business, small or medium, you'd better think of it thoroughly, think up your plan in detail, choose your business carefully, check on legal and tax issues, recognise market and demands, think two steps ahead as to where your field of activity is going to pan out in forseeable future, also given the tough competition (enabled by the „Polish” government, the EU and its laws, and China) etc. Think it through well twice or thrice so as not to rue the decision just few months later. I know it's basically the same about anywhere but, trust me, these are generally not good or favourable times for initiative in Poland. Gotta be very careful.
All I know is we are Polish Catholic. Not all from Tarnobrzeg some from Krakow too & some near Lwow I believe.

Hmm. Well I don't know about Armenian. LOL
I mean some of my family members are a bit dark but they look Ukrainian.
Like yeah a few of my family members are as dark as this Ukrainian girl.

http://www.google.com/imgres...

Then many are as Blonde & Blue eyed as Joanna Krupa.

None in my family look Armenian. Armenians seem to have bigger hook noses than Jews & super thin faces.

Look at System of a Down they are a band of Armenians. LOL

Nothing in my family looks anything like that.

It is actually the lighter ones in my family who have longer noses & longer faces.

Maybe just Ukrainian mix a lot of Ukrainians cam be dark.

Didn't you mention Switzerland / Italy?
So how did you come back? Don't you live in Poland?
So is it hard for someone like you or your father to move back to Poland?
___
I don't think Polonia is all bad. I mean Poles in the West gain some level of wealth or power.
Look at Brzezinski he is a huge power in the U.S & he backed the Solidarity movement & helped bring down the Soviet Union.
___
Poles who go to the U.K gain money they can bring back to Poland & money they can bring back.
The West is really falling pretty bad Nations like the U.S, france, Netherlands & U.K will fall in the future from Multiculturalism.
You already have sizeable Polish communities here Poles can overtake the West in the future much like Germans did to Rome.
___
Yeah it is true that it is not known how many Poles live in Britain it could 2 million between the U.K & Ireland.
No, I didn't move out, not at all, we just visited for few days there :) I've never moved out of the country for a period longer than summer vacations, actually. My Father was for all of about 1,5 years in Italy for financial reasons, did it for the family, and He absloutely didn't have any problem of moving back – quite contrary, there wasn't any issue with that at all. He liked and appriciated Italy and Italians He got to know. But the awesome spaghetti He learnt to make and the tan (that's stayed for good) are the only Italian things about His person there ever were. He's a village boy from here originally who wouldn't live elsewhere.

I can't come up with any Pole in the West who has gained power and helped Poland this way recently. Well, wait, except for John Paul II :)
Brzezinski, a Jew (who calls himself American and Ukrainian, appparently), is a schemer and eminence grise in today's world, Poland included as you've said. It is thanks to him and his kind they manipulated things and regular Poles (Solidarity included) and got better of them to lead Poland to downfall it's been heading to under them. The bad political alliances are also to him and them.

Please, the Poles are there to make their living, not on a civilisational mission. There isn't any. And there'll be no Polish overtaking - the West can be saved if it returns to Christianity and common sense. It is awful and tragic that they can't live in Poland where they belong and contribute here, at home, no matter how much they sent back to their families or bring back with them. This is absolutely not the way it's supposed to be.

Brag or talk. None of this change the fact that three million soviet soldiers surrendered in 1941. Those troops who occupied Baltics, Karelia, Bessarabia and Eastern Poland were either captured by the teutons and their allies or shot by jewish commissars of the USSR.

Poland's economy has done pretty well in recent years.
Even Mitt Romney praised how Poland's economy did without a recession.
The guy who owns my Polish bar / resturant I go to?
This Polish guy went back to Poland this year after not going in like 5 years.
He was shocked how much Poland has built up since then & how much better the Polish economy is doing now.
He said it was a major difference & Poland is way up & up compared to what it was.
„Even Mitt Romney”?!?! Mitt Romney is a sweet talker that makes so called diplomatic statements – that is, a politician; another mendacious politician – he's job is to talk courtesy and euphemistic, so as to win public over. His kind will go to Ethiopia and wax about how the Ethiopians diet is nutricious and rich and agriculture is blossoming there. I could bet he (or rather, people who write his speeches and tell him what to say) hasn't got any idea about Poland's econimic situation. If he'd had one look at the level of our national debt (I wanted to link it under zegardlugu.pl but that site was apparently blocked, strange; if you can, search for „zegar dlugu”, maybe you'll find it) he would've understood there is something desperately wrong with the economical situation in Poland.
Yes, on one hand it's not like all investments have stopped or there haven't been new ones (mostly built with borrowed money in case of public and local governments), or everything is left to rot away, but these are just some externals in the end. The truth is the public treasury and regular people's pockets have been going empty and bust, the liabilities of both have been growing in horrendous tempo (and there are less and less sources to pay them off), the domestic industry has been non-existent and the fields have been turning into fallows, the unemployment is rampaging, wages have not risen (yet prices constantly do) and more and more people are going abroad. But then a clown (the PM or somebody from Polish government) will appear in press conference, wave manipulated, sham statistics, strike a smile and call out we're „the green econimic island”(?!). Then, all the mainstream brainwashing media will carry the „good” gospel further, and you can get back to watching and worrying about real life in your „Got talent”,„You can dance”,„Poland sings” and all the other insipid entertainment, assured it's going to be fine. We're the „green island”,„our new football stadiums have got praised all over Europe” after all! Not.

Both on the father and mother's side?
What does „Polish Catholic” mean exactly? It's not been entirely clear to me. I take for sure that one is of Catholic faith according to this, but „Polish”? Does it mean you are/have/have had roots as a Pole (Polish ethnic), or a person born in Poland (Polish citizen, or not even citizen, but not Polish ethnic but other), or member of the Polish Catholic Church (meaning you frequent traditional Catholic churches founded by the Poles in America). If it was written „Polish/Pole *coma* Catholic” it would be clear to me.

Lwow, Krakow? Interesting. Especially Lwow, it makes it all more curious, it adds another fitting element to the puzzle (it may all be supposedly). This, beside Kamieniec Podolski, was the centre of Armenians in Poland (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth included, of course).
The System of a Down – they're from Near East, I guess - to me most of Armenians and typical male Armenian look is represented with the guitarist of the band, the one that used to wear sports blouses in videos a lot (that's in case there's been a change of guitarists). You look at their national football team and they all look pretty much like it and all the same :) But I have very little experience with Armenians, more so their anthropology. But, even though, I think we are not entirely right in this assumption (although, from my little experience, I won't agree the generalisation on „hook noses and thin faces” is justified; and let's not forget the land had seen Jewish immigration from ancient times on and there are Jews among Armenians and Armenia – by the way, Jews in Poland/PLC would sometimes present themselves as Armenians, it was a noted phenomenon).
The Caucasus, the Near East was where there were different anthropologic types. There were blonde-haired and blue-eyed peoples there too, heck, even in the ancient Palestine. Now in the process of formation of nations, they were lumped together into one or joined into one, no matter their features or hair colour. Normal. Now, I've never been interested in Armenians and their culture, but I recall seeing some ancient/early medieval monuments of their kings and paintings of their saints in books, and those didn't look dark, middle-eastern, hook-nosed or thin-faced, quite contrary (I wonder how much it was to do with certain mannerisms in arts, though). That's peculiar, wonder what's there to it? Now, it's no secret that the lands had been overrrun (as well as inhabited, of course) and dominated by the peoples of the eastern characteristics since. The Armenians in Poland (the PLC) go back to medieval times, or earlier with Ruthenian principalities and their communities in Crimea. I've got a book („won” by a family member in a church fund raising lottery; „”- as each ticket won you something) by an author from Ukraine and it is about Armenian church in Lwow (thus somewhat on the very topic of Armenians in Lwow too). It's got paintings, portraits and photos in it. Now, if you looked at them, sure there are some „dark” people in it, but the majority of them isn't like that at all. They are hard to tell from the original people of our region, really! That was a surprise for me, there are blondes and fair types among them (most of the material is in black and white). I don't know how much of that is owed to intermarriages (the phenomenon of looks inherited from intermarriages!) but surely looks can be deceiving.
And the Armenians blended in the Polish society considering themselves Polish, with some of them remaining some traits of their culture and ancestry, and they would join the Polish Catholic Church leaving their Armenian Catholic Church, and contribute to our country. Therefore they could hardly be told from others, if you could at all.

Have you noticed that there is a possibility that Helonen is Conan Obrian may be another nick of Uther or an associate ? He certainly has clearly clarified and explained the neo-nazi and White supremist views and agenda of D. Black/Uthera and why they support Russia, with a little anti-American/anti West thrown in? Perhaps he is pissdragon's new alter ego. It seems that there is more anti-Jewish/Polish rhetoric on these threads than in the past. It is a mistake to take a person's word on these forums as the truth. They can be slick to throw a poster off, but yet, their message is now common on this forum. In many cases now, discussions are all about anti-Jews, anti-Polish, and anti-Blacks, etc. Subtle anti-Jewish propaganda
