What is the reason for all this pro-nazi sentiment in the Baltics anyway? Just because some quislings decided to join up with the invading Germans... no reason to treat them as heroes.

They were mostly conscripts and they did save the lives of my parents and many tens of thousands of others, and for this they are heroes. There is little pro-nazi sentiment in the Baltics, certainly a small fraction of the number of neo-nazi supporters in Russia today.

Based on what soviets did to the estonians I say nazis treated finno-ugric people better than your serbian flea infested pig farmers.

Old folks around here told me, the Nazi officers were cruel, but treated the population much better than Soviets.

Indeed. All the lowest officers USSR had always came from Ukraine or Belarus. You don't hear much about the russians because none of them expect maybe Ivan Serov were russians. My guess is ukras were still same backward peasants as hundred years ago so they behave accordingly to it.

They were behind the NAZIs from the time they invaded the Soviet Union in 1941. and they deserve no attention at all except to spit on them. Better yet a rival parade and demonstation should be held for all who oppose those units who helped the NAZIS
