Lol.. alot of people here are ignorant as hell.I'm not Puerto Rican, my wife and kids are. I lived in Rincon for about 10 years and loved it. The people of PR are good, humble folks and many of them have money. It is not a 3rd world country,so kill that.The biggest problem is the political situation and status.Puerto Rico is extremely divided about the status issue, but that shows you how not all Ricans think alike.About the flag, my kids like to show it , but that's because they get homesick and miss their maternal family and their good friends.In no way are they trying to disrespect the US.Trust me, I've seen the confederate flag and Texas flag as much as I've seen the PR and Cuban flags, and no one says anything.

See the problem here is you aren't educated enough to understand the difference between European Immigrants that started the US VS the present day Hispanic Immigrants from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica,.

In my adjoining city in the states 100% of ALL murders are the Ricans and the Blacks.

Another town nearby 179 years old for the first time had a Riot and it was all Puerto Ricans even Rican women with baseball bats.

So you wonder WHY there is an immigrant issue in the US.

You need to do some research. Its doesn't take Rocket science to see the Ricans and Mexicans living in there home lands with STEEL BARS on their windows and then do the Same Crap in the US in very bad social Behavior... See the problem Ricans will NEVER know what its like to not have to lock your car or your house like the REAL immigrants did not so long ago.
