I'm mixed with both.But I look like the average black dude on the street.My father looks like Roberto Clemente,that's the dude in my avatar. He's black but he was born and raised in PR. My mom is Puerto Rican,she looks like actress Lauren Velez. http://www.youtube.com/watch... Me and my sisters are all different complexions,no one looks alike!lol I guess that happens sometimes. But I lived in PR until I was 10 years old. Then we moved to California,it was a culture shock. It took awhile to learn the language and American lifestyle. But I fit in with everybody. And knowing spanish helps out here in Cali,everything is in spanish!lol |

Yeah. It seems like when ur mixed u either look like one or the other lol. My Godsis i mixed too. But she looks 100% PR. Yeah i know Roberto Clemente..im actually a big baseball fan. A big sports fan period. I can imagine it being a big culture shock to move here and not no what the hell is going on. How long did it take u to learn English? |

It took me about a year to learn the basics. But about two years to speak it really well. By the time I was thirteen I knew it fluently. English is harder than people think. Americans take it for granted being able to speak English.But it was hard because I had a lot of mexican friends and they always spoke spanish. But they all thought it was cool because I was the only black kid that knew spanish!lol The best part about being Puerto Rican is when people talk $hit about you in spanish and they don't know you speak it!lol Then when you confront them,they're very embarassed!lol It definietly comes in handy!lol |

My girlfriend in college was black,so I don't discriminate. If she looks attractive,I'm all for it!lol Even though I'm Filipino,I've never had trouble getting hispanic,white or black women.
