I would respond...but I don't speak ignorant and I fear my message would be lost in translation.... For the rest...the open minded people...I don't hate where I came from, my family and I came here from PR (no visa needed "white power" we're a commonwealth of the US...knowledge is power) to make a better life and it irks me to see "my people" acting like ignorant, uneducated wild, fools.IT DOES NOT HELP OUR CAUSE. Furthermore pride is something you feel when you've accomplished something...I am proud of many things I have accomplished but I had nothing to do with where I was born..I find it very sad and pathetic when people have so little accomplishments in their life that must profess pride in things they had nothing to do with (i.e. "I'm as proud as can be" or "white Pride") Yup folks...the ignorant fools happen on every side...perhaps Luis and "white power" should get together to discuss their only accomplishment...being born.

Hey baby! Not only was I born I wasn't emabarrassed. But for an embarrassed non want to speak person, which I know your are not, you talk a game that even ignorants from your group are ashame of because you're not eve hispanic. It comes through in the permiated prejudicial writing. My friends and I, most of which are non hispanic nor black, are laughing at your comments. And they are embarrassed because we are in the after parade functions and they themselves say they have never experienced this. They do say they recognize you. You are what they were before coming here, ignorant and prejudice. That said the music is calling and I'm going downstairs. You may answer but your ignorant comments will have to wait for a response. After a well deserved party. Thank God at this hour I have not met you as I said befor my photo is there. Look for me and you'll find me. Many did. Showed me their printout photos of me and said thanks. They had a ball. Stay home, if you wish to be depressed. Come out and have fun, meet me, I don't hold a grudge. Sorry for all of those who are missing it. Downstairs now. God bless

Yeah to let you all know i was raised in BPT.Had my home on the Eastside of BPT Orchard st off Ogden st off Eastmain st.Lived across from felix who picks up metal to sell.Graduated from Harding High. The only thing i loved about Bridgeport would be seaside park on weekdays not weekends. The fresh bread from the bakery and the 2% of the nice people who live in the city. What needs to change first is the mentality of the people who live there then the city will get better. It was funny to walk up and down Eastmain street and see trash on the floor but the trash cans provided by the city empty.I call it Bridgeport Landscaping.

Well I'm back now. The parade was wonderful. The politicians were themselves. And did I mention the parade was wonderful. Skipping words, is that the best that a a person of your suppossed high and embarrassed education can do. Truly, shame on you. Now I know why you lock yourself in. And Kissimmee, you're a follower so once the head is cut off you're as good as what you were to begin with, a follower. You both moved out and now I know wny the city has improved. I'll bet your neighbors have begun to put their homes for sale, those little pesky sings that say, there goes the neighborhood. Wow! I do ahve to say, you don't need the ones that l;eave you need the ones that stay. It's a saying but now I see why it is true. You guys did nothing for the community anyways. Sad. And I so much wished we could have met. If I were grading the grammar both of you would have flunked, with me of course, but that makes you no better. I was serious when I said I don't hold a grudge. But, I will not stop living because of you or anyone else. Only God can decide that for me. And sad for both of you he saw me fit to at least write this. Go ahead respond, only God can stop you, not I. But, here I am too. Boohoo! To those would care, I still haven't heard any shots. Then again Joe from Kissimmee and Embarrassed from Meriden are flunking grammar in those towns as they spend far too much time shooting over there instead of staying with the toopic at hand. Funny, one of my friends who enjoyed the parade already lost fitty thanks to the Meriden one. Sorry Kissimmee, I only one twenty on you,'cause you're not an independent thinker. My friends did like your bread story. They said now all you need is to only put peanyt butter and jelly and maybe, in the computer comments, they might believe you're not hispanic. They said in Kissimmee hispanics are limited to some neighborhoods. It's that true? And you moved out of Bridgeport, Mr. I got you for skippimg words. Houses are cheaper and larger in Fl.'cause the storms take them away there often, is that true? I thought so. I hope you, others don't have to come back,'cause then you will have to Kissimmee. I hear they have large alligator farms there, is that true? I know it is 'cause many hispanics there have not been heard of again. I'll stay over here thanks. Here, where there are only two kind of peaple, Puerto Rican/Americans and those who wish they were. That said God bless

Well the results are in. Parade was fantastic throughout. Packed elbow to elbow in most areas. Not enough officers but everyone were well behaved and out for enjoyment which made it a great day and event. Sorry disapoint anyone I haven't heard of any homicides in China yet during the parade in Bridgeport. But just to keep bad news lovers interested a transformer that exploded due to streamers injured a couple of kids, cannot play with those power lines. Some took my advice and printed my photo. They approached me calling me by name and showed me the printouts expressing they were pleasantly surprised I am exactly as I am in the photo. Thanking me for challanging them to come out, and they all enjoyed themselves. Seaside Park was mad packed. And traffic afterwards was stupid heavy, which explained the thousands of people in attendance. Plenty of participastion and representation on the floats. All the local and nonlocal politicians and state personel made their appearances and walked the entire parade route. Bridgeport, other towns, and from outside Connecticut, including from Puerto Rico, were represented. Excellent music, both traditional and contemporary. Beautiful people. Great traditional dresses and constumes. Out of this world music. Lots of dancing. The festivities went on 'til the police shuts down late in the day (which were continued indoors.) Traditional dishes being sold everywhere. Arroz con gandules, con pollo, con habichuelas. Morsillas, lechon, pernies, biandas, verduras, ensaladas de bacalao y de guineos, bacalaitos, papas rellenas, alcapurrias, pasteles, chicharron. Just to mention a few and not enough stomach space. So, a little of everything made it okay. For those hoping tragedies it was disappointing as it was a great success. I still would have wish no one could have missed it, but we cannot all be there. Take care and god bless

Stop wasting your time with these ignorant, bigoted and racist fools. They want you to engage them, it feeds their insanity. Just ignore them. Thank God they are such a small and insignificant group. They don't want to be exposed to anything, they are happy that what they've amassed in their caves along with the cobwebs in their heads. These are not reasonable Americans. They are foolish relics!

Luis - amigo, you are ranting about how great this parade is. I see it differently. Its an excuse for low-life to come out, act their worst, make a mess and call it pride. I'm not proud and you shouldn't be either. And most important, the people who organize this parade need to re-think it before having another one. I realize they can't make low life clean up their acts, but don't give them an opportunity to deface the city and decent PuertoRicans.

Luis is a poser, nothing more. What i suggest is getting your eyes checked Luis. The pollution from incinerator plant must be rottening your brain.I'm guessing you don't know anything about owning property. You ever heard of insurance. That is something that covers your home if anything bad happens.section 8 does not qualify you as a homeowner.I did seen you a few times at Maucada's liquor store.I hope you picked up after yourself during and after the parade.I guess lying to make the city seem to be a safe place to hang is your goal in life.My home is not in Kissimme it just reads that way on the post. But your welcome to visit Kissimme since it's close to all the attractions. The liquor stores and Walmarts are open 24Hr a day so i know you would enjoy that. But moving here i do not regret it.I save more money.I pay $1,345 in property taxes a year for 3,800 sq home on a 2acre lot.no car taxes and enjoying my pool and great community parties. Not a worry in the world.Oh yeah we do have hispanics,Jews, whites, italians here since i've been here we have been welcomed with open arms.People have welcomed us with all types of cakes and pastries. The thing is when you have a people who care about their community it doesn't matter what is your background.

Having lived in both Kissimmee and in Bridgeport, it's really not that different. Sure taxes are way cheaper and the weather is great, but that's it. Crime is way worse in Kissimee/Orlando area than in Bpt. Do you remember the Puerto Rican festival they had at Wet and Wild last year? Girls were groped and molested....Funny I didn't hear any of that happening at our parade. The schools are laughable and the job market is horrendous unless you want to work in a hotel or theme park, both at minimum wage. If you do have a degree and are looking for work, good luck...because you end up competing against thousands of others for the same job. Like I said, having lived in both places, FL is definitely not the answer.
