Statistically-speaking, Puerto Rico is poorer than the Dominican Republic. Even with the help of the US, Puerto Rico maintains a 45% poverty rate, which is a bit higher than the DR's 42%. Now just give Puerto Rico it's independence and it'll quickly turn into Haiti, and they'll be swimming to their neighbors like they did in the early 1900's.
I highly doubt Puerto Rico is 80% White, no White nation would have such a low poverty rate.
This is very true! For a US colony PR is pretty miserable!

Had DR been a US colony (as originally planned) the case would have been different

<quoted text> The majority of individuals that are in the upper social strata in P.R are Cuban and dominican?. Trully laughable. Certaintly a fair share of Cubans. Dominicans!.........You're hilarious. Let's not travel down this "slippery slope", once again!...... Where do you get your statistics from? A "playdoo" box?.....LOL......TPMP.
The only thing laughable is your anti-dominican mentality. Racially non-biasly speaking dominjcans are far wealthier than puerto ricans. I dont know what it is about puerto rican people but they seem to be allergic to success. Dont believe me? Come to America or more specifically NYC, where race is irrelevant and money is king. The upper class here has far more dominicans than puerto ricans. PRs seem to be happy just knowing that they can claim for food stamps and other social services.

Dominican's are far wealthier than Puerto Ricans?

Really?

HAAAAAAAAA.......HAAAAAAAA.... ....HAAAAAA......HAAAAAAA

This had me hysterical! You are too funny.

It sound's like you nned to travel and see your own country.

I have extensively. The DR is still "una miseria" in many parts.

==========

Here in NY. You people are the kings of getting everything free from church food pantries and every "liberal" program known to mankind. Many of the foodstuffs you send to your countrymen in DR. That food is meant for the poor here in this country. You also send condoms from the NY health dept for our local "safe sex" campaign back to Santo Domingo. It is NOT meant for the people of the DR.

Besides doing every SCAM under the sun.

I know LOTS MORE about YOUR PEOPLE......Shall i continue???

You people are NOTORIOUS!

Galiciaknight you are nothing but an ignorant and you shouldnt be denegrating us. In DR they have only HIGH CLASS AND LOW CLASS. In our society we have high, medium and low. Many of the so called low class people that live in a house, is a home paid off because the built brick by brick until is done...so they dont even have a mortgage while you probably have a mortgage that you cant even pay.

In DR is plenty of corruption, crime, pooverty. You just type because you are RACISTS!

Maybe it's true that DR is in better shape than PR, that would explain why Dominicans keep drowning on a weekly basis trying to reach PR on feeble boats, while Puerto Rican's go to RD on moderns jets to stay on their best resorts.

Looks like all of you Cubans were homeless refugees from Cuba, running to Miami and Puerto Rico, getting all kinds of Federal freebies. Sounds unfair to me. They ought to send all of you refugees back to Havana.

==========

The Miami Cubans were ,in large part, subsidized by our federal govermnent.

They had a hands up and a headstart.

One day. I will pull up a very good link regarding this very theme. Can't right now.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Scorpio

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
