Why do Puerto Ricans THINK they're AMERICAN?

We dont have statehood and dont wont come for a few years becasue of stupid people fucking up our country's name, and top be honest you are the only one who doesnt want us, because I lived all my life in the island and I came to the states for college and not only am i in the dean's list, im an active member of plenty of clubs on campus, I speak english fluently and i was welcomed here with open arms by everyone, and yes my friends they had the oppurtunitiy to not speak to me if they hate puerto ricans, honestly they are all fascinated by the fact I lived in an island. so stick your stupid comment up your ass and get on with your life.
