Polak Madziar dwa bratanki do wypitki i do szklanki :-) In fact polish and hungarian brotherhood is stronger than todays political problems. In fact today we have not too much same pionts of views. It is normal, because in Hungary are letf winger rullings and in Poland right wingers... but... on tuesday I was visited by few old known Hungarians (we met together durnig "spartakiade" during my high school days, when I was a handball player, and up to now we've got contact together)...
Lengyel, Magyar ket jo barat, egyutt harcol s issza borat! |

1 And I hope that political differences wouldn'T weaken this naturally good relation between our nations (I doubt it would). Anyways, if Poland and Hungary with unite in their views, then other countries, like Slovakia and Ukraine would naturally gravitate to that view as well. So I also hope that soon our politicians will be able to work out something! |

Out of all the European countries out their,
Poland was always friends with Hungary so I think that it's good that Poland tries to keep good ties with that country. |

No Pesky, I didnt get it from there. In fact, I dont like football... But I do know some about history! Just one example from the 20th century. When Hitler attacked Poland, he had to count with that the hungarians refused any kind of inolvement against the polish, plus refused to open the sub-carpathian borderland to german troops for a flanking operation. And if this is not enough, a few regiments of the polish army were allowed and able to pass through hungary, therefore evacuate and repell total destruction (not to mention the civilian refugees). If these arent enough proof for a friendship, then shall it be enough like this - we both (hungarians and polish) think we are friends.

Very well said. |

Pesky, How do we know you didn't get hit in the chooms? |

Ahhhhh what a great way to keep a conversation at such a high level of decency LOL |

Well pesky, no I wasnt hurt in any sports... But about waterpolo, you do know that 1956' waterpolo finals were famous? Hungarians vs. Soviets.. Great struggle it was, even blood spoiled the water.(because of recent uprising against soviets, which is being considered as a milestone in the fall of the soviet union). We were able to fight against our opressors by only ourselfes, this is something we can say about our kind, can you do the same?
Anyways, you are still great in evading the intellectual parts of any post and I guess you wont give up your intents on insultation... Perhaps you are unable to comprehend the intellectual part? Your style would really fit a far-right football hooligans level... |

Historically, Poland has always had good relations with the Hungarians. Poland and the whole of Central Europe are about as close in character as it is possible for nations to be. I for one feel very comfortable in all the Central European countries I've visited. Tasty food, sophisticated music and beautiful women ... the adjectives could be moved around and the order changed, but the effect is the same. Just feels like home from home. |
