Its about providing a counterpoint to one's bigotry. I tried that experiment of IGNORING his Anti-Polish bigotry and guess what? It doesn't work. If you keep turning the other cheek, you're not going to have a cheek. Frankly he would like nothing more then for me to "be afraid" and not say something. SORRY but I'm not going to give him that satisfaction. He would be saying MORE if he didn't think I would dish it back to him. Also you're also totally ignoring something else. And that's the power of the BIG LIE technique where the more you repeat something the more people tend to believe it. WHY do you think he keeps repeating himself?? In fact as Hitler said, the MORE ABSURD something is to repeat, the more people will tend to believe it because most people would think NOBODY would have the nerve to say it if it was untrue. Polish people in Nazi Germany were mercilessly attacked with this technique with big Lies about "Polish inferiority, "Polish people having subhuman intelligence" and all types of other crap. Then ironically Leftist Polish-haters in the 1960's and 1970's in Hollywood and NBC-TV introduced this same anti-Polish Nazi propaganda into the US because of their hatred of Poles. This only died down when Polish people complained. The same way how Anti-Semitic slurs in the US, racist slurs againt Blacks and racism against other groups decreases - is when people speak up! Chuck I know you mean well, but I just respectfully disagree with you on this.
