You know, comparisons like these don't always work the way you wish or intend.

Malaysia is a destination and, to a lesser extent, a source and transit country for women and children trafficked for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation, and men, women, and children for forced labor; Malaysia is mainly a destination country for men, women, and children who migrate willingly from South and Southeast Asia to work, some of whom are subjected to conditions of involuntary servitude by Malaysian employers in the domestic, agricultural, construction, plantation, and industrial sectors; to a lesser extent, some Malaysian women, primarily of Chinese ethnicity, are trafficked abroad for commercial sexual exploitation
tier rating: Tier 2 Watch List - Malaysia improved from Tier 3 to the Tier 2 Watch List for 2008 when it enacted comprehensive anti-trafficking legislation in July 2007; however, it did not take action against exploitative employers or labor traffickers in 2007; the government has not ratified the 2000 UN TIP Protocol (2008)

The PAGCOR is currently constructing the "Bagong Nayong Pilipino Entertainment City" where the "future" 2nd tallest infrastracture in the world will be located (after Burj Al-Arab [Dubai]) which is the PAGCOR Tower...

Be proud Filipinos, PAGCOR said that it will look like Las Vegas, USA...

All I can say is that, we are beggining to be on the Top..

Philippines is one of best-performing economies in Asia - cited by Business World's report showing that "the peso has outperformed most emerging market currency so for this year and is likely to prove a strong value in 2009 as the Philippine economy is least vulnerable to the factors of hammering markets elsewhere. Philippines in now recognized as the best perforing economy in Southeast Asia despite the global crisis.

Because of the vision determination of Pres. Arroyo, PI is not as badly affected as the rest of the World -(by Press Secretary Cerge Remonte."

It's better to legalize these gambling casinos to minimize or stop corruption in gambling. Too bad, ex Pres. Estrada was a victim of gambling corruption.

Wow another crazy person who could not argue without insulting.

Here in the USA, you can find a lot of elderlies, like Fil Ams who are going to casinos everyday, not only to gamble but to spend their time with friends. Because casinos here offer a lot of entertainment.

I believe you're educated and professional, so act like one.

Here in the Philippines, you can find not only elderlies but yongsters as well, who go to drug dens everyday, not only to use drugs but to spend their time with friends. Because drug dens here offer a lot of entertainment.

This argument makes a big case for the legalization of drugs in Phlippines, not to mention the fact that illegal drugs trade is a lucrative business, very timely for the economic crisis.

There is a Board member and some politicians who are talking of legalizing marijuana. If this will be put in the ballot, for sure majority of us will vote against it.

We have too much social problems like drugs, alcohol, murders, rapes, etc.

Better not legalize drugs.

Illegal drugs and alcohol destroy lives and families. Self destruction.

So many people, all over the World use illegal drugs. Look at Mexico, 10,500 killings just for drugs alone. They're dealing with drug cartels who are using high caliber weapons.

Now, Pres. Obama and the Pres. of Mexico are having a dialogue on how to solve this problem.

Let's hope for the best that these Filipinos using drugs would someday realize that drug is not good. It will only lead to death, etc.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
