1)Is it because the Philippine economny allows the American dollar to go farther?
2)Is it becasue of the tropical climate?
3)Is it because the American man can actually find a Filipino wife who will respect him?
I don't have the correct answer.
I would like your take on this.

All the things you mentioned, plus if you live there, you may not need a wife. The security issues are strong, possibly an unknown deathwish?

Americans live sort of all over the world so it is not something in particular about the Philippines that specifically creates the draw. I think the life style is well suited for some men because of the reasons listed above. Also, culturally I think Filipinos and American culture is compatible for relationships unlike many other Asian cultures.

Dont forget while there are only about 250,000 Americans livings in the Philippines (including those of Filipino origin), there are over One Million Filipinos currently living in California alone.

They finally found a submissive wife. The one they can boss around. The one who will not say a word when he say something disgusting. The one who will tolerate them with everything they do including cheating LOL..

I don't think all Filipina women are submissive and can be boss around. I don't do things when I don't really want to and my hubby don't force me for it. He never cheat on me. He knows that I have zero tolerance on it. He would not dare me on anything that would risk our marriage and my health.

When a husband and wife truly love each other, they don't see each other as Asian and White but as husband and wife. Life goes on as normal as it can be regardless of race.

A lot of White men are way stereo typed.

I just checked, and it does warn US citizens about the danger risk in certain parts of Mindanao. The first very lines reads: The State Department warns U.S. citizens of the risks of travel to the southern Philippine islands of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago and urges extreme caution if traveling there.

That is not always the case. Those who hates the Americans would also hate their Filipina wives because for those American haters,I and the rest of the Filipinas who married the Americans are traitors therefore we are not free from their rage. They will harm us the same way they would harm the Americans. Besides, even if I and other Filipinas are originally Filipino citizens,by law we are American citizens and that added salt to the wound.

Also,in Mindanao, there are Muslims who can not stand any Christians although we are of the same nationality. Our beliefs are different and that causes trouble. I used to have a Muslim princess for a friend during College. I liked her a lot but she was double faced. She liked me but because I am a non Muslim, she was venting her hatred on me. She used to be in a bording house full of Muslims. I used to stay there for awhile and no one harmed me because that was in Manila and because she is my friend but I can sense the pressure. In the University, there are a lot of Muslims there and they couldn't stand the Christians but they go there to educate theirselves. They liked me for some reason. They said,I am different because I doesn't descriminate.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
