Sabahans much prefer to be with Malaysia rather than Philippines. Look at the Philippines... Prostitutions, murders, fornications, rapes, corruptions, and oppression towards the Muslim Mindanao in that country. In the Philippines, the poor ppl are getting poorer and the ignorant rich ppl are getting richer. That's why the Muslim Mindanao wants to be separated from the Philippines. The way of life in Philippines is so corrupted.

Sabah is very rich in oil and malaysia will never give it back. However, they pay the sultan of sulu a monthly rent just to say that they didnt grab sabah unlawfully. The economic boom that malaysia is experiencing right now is mainly due to the oil they are getting from Sabah. Another problem is, many Sabah residents prefer now to be ruled by Malaysia because since it is muslim dominant unlike the Philippines which is Christian dominant country. Most likeliy Sabah will not be returned to the Philippines anymore, but karma will definitely set in. They might be enjoying now, but who knows what natural calamity might be awaiting for malaysia in the future?

Some predict that The Philippines will outpace Malaysia economically and also per capita income by 2050. The Philippines is experiencing a rising Middle Class and incomes are slowly rising and the country will be a good marketing area for companies from around the world to invest in due to its large young population.

It does not make any sense. If Sabah was rightfully part of the Philippines then why did the Spanish or Americans not claim it as part of their territory? The Spanish do not strike me as the giving kind. Nor the type to let potential riches go on the waiste side

Sabah belongs to Malaysia is this claim apart of some greedy plot to exploit the wealth of Sabah after exploiting Mindanao. The territory of Sabah was leased to a British corporation by the Sultanate Of Sulu who ceased to excist after the Americans occupied it after the Tausug American war it was an independant state and no they are not filipino citizens they were not even given a choice America forcibly merged them to the Philippines. The Spanish never conquered Sabah. The people of Sabah were given a choice and chose to join Malaysia and even today they wish to remain. The war hawks here should take note that AFP can't even beat MILF or the NPA how will you combat one of the best armed forces in South East Asia? AFP are downsizing to save money and are buying cheap weapons while Malaysian army is still strong a war would be disastrous. Mr war prick you are delusional the only thing stopping China taking back Spratly Islands is the USA Vietnam would easily beat Philippines as well larger navy

The Sultan of Sulo named Datu Olaer was originally the owner Sabah. When the Marcoses went to Bohol and retrieved the title of ownership. President Marcos tried to declare war with Malaysia. But, the Philippine War materials will only last for a week and lose the war. The U.S.A. declared support in favor of Malaysia and Spain was siding with Philippine army tabak division who were pretty eager to attack Malaysia. The only problem arises that we cannot fight against U.S.A.

Wah wah wah wahhhhhhhhhhh whatever lmfao! Never once did the USA say they would stand and fight with malaysia! Hell it would have profitable for it to be in the Philippines hands for the USA.
Go get them now if you think it's yours what's stopping you? Philippines need someone to hold their hand when they go potty? Time to stand on your own feet put on your big boy pants and take it if you think it's yours.

Sabah is in fact a Filipino territory illegally grabed by The Malaysian Gov't. The Sulu Sultanate is a Filipino empire, Philippines then is the nl country that's rightful to own Sabah.

According to history, it was the British who stole the Sabah to the Sultanate of Sulu and not the Malaysia. So to make the story short, Malaysia is innocent so blame them? I guess those British wants Malaysia and Philippines to fight, so Malaysians and Filipinos should stop fighting now. With love from the Philippines

Here's a solution until the issue of ownership is resolved. STOP deporting the people who has been leaving on their land. And in a few generation later, filipinos would just simply outnumber the population. Each country has its golden years, Philippines had her's in the 60 and soon Malaysia willcome down from it's economic throne.
When philippines regains its glory, lets talk war. But for now, Philippines asks nicely for the return of Sabah. Please return our land, that a foreigner stole and gave to another person.
