To the Tigers and the Dominicans, the 2 basketball teams of Cataggaman, I'm hoping you'd accomplish what I failed to taste during my basketball years, the Mayor's Cup crown.. I wonder when will Cagayan ever get to be known as Cagayan and not Cagayan Valley. Cagayan Valley is Region 2. If you're referring to the province where Tuguegarao belongs, please drop the "Valley"..We're the true Cagayan, forget about Cagayan De Oro..I'm sick and tired of having my province play second fiddle to CDO.. Hope your vacation went well. Are you back? How was it? I'm from Tuguegarao as well and I don't have a lot of contacts there as much anymore. I'm hoping I could at least hear some of your vacation stories. Cherish each moment! Safe travels! Joanne

Joanne wrote: <quoted text> Dan, how did you find out about this place near St. Paul University? I've contacted Bangko De Oro in California, and PNB in New York but they're not too quick in responding. I found some real state properties from their website and I was hoping that either banks will give me some direction on how to start the research and process of acquiring a real state back home but they don't seem to have a sense of urgency. It's been over a year now since I've talked to them and they've not followed up even after two overseas phone conversations, as well as emails that I sent requesting for further follow up. Perhaps an individual's experience will be more valuable than a Professional help at this point. Thanks! Joanne I go home every year Joanne and I hear things and seen the sites. Cagayan progressed a lot, it's ideal place for retirement rather than Manila and saburbs. If you remember the road going to Aparri that is closed to the airport theres plenty of house and lot available so as the way going to capitol. Remember that split road? I really recommend that you go home for a vacation before you buy in that way you can choose which one fits your needs. Don't worry about the accomodation there's plenty of good hotels with aircon and Western food as you please. If you want rent a car there is also plenty in Tuguegarao. The city changed a lot, very busy and good for business if you have that intent. I'm going up north today, keep me posted if you are really interested on properties to buy. Philippines banks in the States knows nothing about these kind of properties, they just know about Manila and saburbs.

Ma'am Joy I think our good friend from Kansas wants to know the challenges it takes to acquire a property in Tuguegarao and how you were able to hurdle them. Thanks. Mabuhay ang Cagayan.
Thanks for pointing that out. Glad someone's paying attention to the details.

Still no progress from the Bank. One thing though that I find interesting is they have no sense of urgency. It takes quite a long time for them to follow up. I have a hard time when people say they will follow up with an email about an inquiry and they never email back. Joanne

Joanne Ma'am Joanne, maybe you can contact North Matrix Dev't Corp.,a respected property developer in Cagayan. Care of Engr. Art. Their office is jst beside St. Peter's cathedral. Hope it helps..

Hello fellow Cagayanos!!! We are brothers in one province so don't be racists!!! Ethnicity is not a factor to exhibit brotherhood!!! We still bear common blood which emanates from our being... I am an Itawes and I have nothing to insist that we are TRUE Cagayanos nor we are just aliens in our hometown...Remember, we are also Filipinos. Filipinos have different ethnic groups but we call ourselves Filipinos! This applies to us folks.

I agree with all who had good comments. I am a true-blooded CAGAYANA and I think Cagayan is always Cagayan.
You cannot reciprocate what you had in Cagayan to what you are having or enjoying at the moment. As we all know, we always go back to where we belong. It doesn't matter where we are now but what matter most is to be happy whereever we are.

Ano po ba ang latest update tungkol doon sa mga nangugulo sa Tugue? Meron po bang na-identify kung anong group or clan ang nag-uutos sa mga recent shootings?
