how sad is it that its like winning the lottery to esacape from the Phils for these people?
Yes they think it's the lottery until they get there and find out how hard they have to work to make ends meet.

Long lunches? Gone, Vacations? Gone. Lots of holidays? Gone. Cheap transportation? Gone. Lots of parties? Gone. Cheap hospitals? Gone. Women whenever you want? Gone.

No wonder they want to come back home so bad, hell I would.

In PH half of salary goes to gasoline.
Bad roads in PH.
Undisciplined rude uneducated barbaric jeepney and taxi drivers.
Who cares about long lunches if your healthcare is lousy or nonexistent?
Clean America, dirty PH.
Polite USA, rude pushy pinoys can't even get in line.
What use is laid back life in PH if your buying power is low?
PH good only for expats.
PH unsafe, lots of criminals looking for foreigners to rob, steal from, dupe or kill. Police corrupt, unlike USA.

Who cares about cheap transport when you're treated like sardines in the jeeps and get mixed in with all the poor people and criminals?
Who cares if transport is cheap and you're not secure in them as there are predators everywhere you ride? Taxis want to scalp you. Snatchers holduppers pickpockets bag slashers in jeeps.

They want to come back just for those reasons. They can be barbaric and racist again. Hell even if they hit an American with their car it's automatically the Americans fault then "give me money".

40 of 907 pass principals’ test in Central Visayas
Monday, January 30, 2012
CEBU CITY -- Only 40 teachers in Central Visayas passed the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH), out of the 907 who took the exam last October 30.
The region got a passing rate of 4.41 percent, with Bohol Province having the most number of passers at 19.
Only eight in Cebu Province and three in Cebu City passed the exam, administered by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP), the training arm of the Department of Education (DepEd).
Of the 11,778 teachers who took the exam nationwide, only 1,024 passed. DepEd announced the results last Thursday.
DepEd-Central Visayas Director Recaredo Borgonia said the region lacks qualified school heads or principals.
At present, those who serve as school heads in some schools have yet to pass the qualifying exam, Borgonia told Sun.Star Cebu Sunday.
i am not aware of anyone wanting any filipino teachers anywhere are you?
those are some seriously sad stats. for college educated people.

what does a nation do when faced with this dilemma?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
