i am from cameroon, i don't think africans hate, we just don't want our pride fucked up. you can walk up to an AA and say "wasup bro" and he/she disses you, or be happy that an african thinks highly of him/her. i live where there are mostly whites, so most blacks get along. Reality doesn't support your assertion; Black americans are 12% of the U.S population, yet there are more black millionaires, athletes, celebrities, CEO's, leaders and influential citizens than any other minority group in the United States. No other group come close.

well, lets see. the millionaires are the professional athletes and entertainers like hollywood. they are talented in these areas. but the professionals compensated their success in affirmative action which one Black professor in UCLA Berkeley,( I forgot his name) wanted it removed as it is not fair with other ethnic groups as he is married to a Vietnamese and his kids are his concern. and he was right and it was removed in many states. Affirmative action means lowering the standards in hiring and university acceptance to accommodate minorities however, most minorities who benefited from this were blacks. Asians actually were not or toke advantage of this, because they feel they do not need it as they pass the entrance exams and grades. this is the reason why you see many blacks now in government executive positions and in many corporations in America because of affirmative action, kind of just show that they comply and adhere to minority concerns. I actually see some black managers and supervisors who were not qualified for their jobs and they run it like hell.(incompetents) resulting to bad operations and management. But in fairness, they are a few who are really good and hard working, but majority of them are not. I worked in Banks, mortgage companies and used to own a small business. Im now semi retired. With Obama, well. lol. he is half white so he got most of the good traits from his white mother plus he was raised by this white grand parents thats why he is what he is now. and I like Obama. he is a good example for all minorities.

Not all Africans hate a whole race. if your gonna hate a whole race,at least hate the ones that are disrespectful and rude to you. some hate black Americans but not all of them,that is like generalizing. I guess it depends on which tribes of africans because Africans don't see themselves as a race,only a tribe. many don't like the American blacks because they are of mixed heritage and do not consider them pure African blood.

I believe its due to the misunerstanding of eachother's culture,both African Americans and black-africans have different cultures that sometimes don't agree with each other socially and in the media,black americans are portaryed negatively so in Africa,they paint a image in their head as what they stand for based on negative stereotypes.
