Same Sex Marriage be legalized in the Philippines. Yes or No?

philippine laws do not recognize and protect same sex marriage.it doesnt matter which religion you belong.

i don't agree with the same sex marriage because in the first place, god created man for woman and vise versa. we should accept who we are, who really we are. we should not change our identity.it's not that I'm criticizing gay or lesbians but we have to consider the fact that it's not good to see same sex to be married especially when we talk about the reputation of our country.

I think people are so ignorant! Wake up people, gays are everywhere! What are you going to do? Ban them to an island? As long as they love their partner and are happy who are we to judge them! They are not harming us and as a matter of fact there is love that we can learn from them because they are the most loving and caring people! Not saying that straight people are not caring but look at the worlds ratio of divorce amongst the straight people as we like to say! If gays want to be together then let them because they have the right and the freedom to choose what they want also! There are so many other people that commit such big sins so nobody is perfect. There is no mankind that can point a finger in this time and say that he or she has not committed a sin! So my question is 'Is loving someone really so bad a sin'? I don't think so! Give them their rights to be together and marry if that's what they want! Besides with or without marriage they are still going to be together!

Yes the whole world is being dragged down with lowering standards so why not let queers marry. The do-gooders wont be satisfied until the white Christians are under shariah law. Time to stand up to perversion. What's the difference between marrying your sister/mother and marrying another gay? Oh yes the sister/mother love is not allowed. Why not, same argument a loving relationship. Queers should not be considered as equal when it comes to marital rights.

Society in general is going downhill. In schools in Western countries, children are not disciplined and talk back at their teachers, social etiquette is something that is difficult to practice etc.

With the Shariah law, the do-gooders have certainly blinded themselves on the implications this would bring. That issue is discussed here in Australia and these Muslims who want to be here should respect the country's way of life, laws etc. They are the ones who should assimilate at least and not cause social divide but of course it won't be the case.

A proper nuclear relationship is important for children. But with the same sex marriage issue, it is very debatable.
