Those were not peasert farmers, but criminal terrorists, trained to kill, they murdered unwapened policemen, occupied illigally foreign territory an tried - like allways- to blackmail the government to get ground for free and sell it later again.

If you look at the body you will see that he is wearing a belt holding shot gun shells, which means he was also carrying a shot gun.

These peasants are being armed and indoctrinated by a group that wants to incite serious trouble in Paraguay, by hiding behind the slogans of land rights. In fact they are nothing but a criminal gang.
