I hope the current president can do more than what the past presidents have done. Most that I see from past presidents are for personal gain. Palau has got to step up a notch in pursuit of democracy and independence. Hope this president have what it takes to take us to the next level.

You're describing the problems when President Tommy was president, no power 24/7, few police patrol vehicles patrolling the streets, etc. Even with the previous administration before Tommy, these problems existed. You're arrogance and rudeness begets you.

To Shtybrk01...get your facts right before you state your opinions!!! I maybe believe when Kuniwo Nakamura and Tommy R. were President at the time they both accomplished many projects that benefited Palau. As for Pres Toribiong he has not done anything so far! No strategies to improve our economy, education, infrastructure etc. Since you reside in Guam, GO BACK TO PALAU and live there for at least a year and then come back and let's see what your view is......

Such harsh words do show your frustration and wonder if more do feel the same way towards such candidate. Lets hope for a peaceful election or should I say an Erection!

I would choose other candidate than current President now. I think this is the worst one, so far. Palawada make good comment, but he could have said it better. Please dont vote for him again. Its jst a waste of an ink, and you know he wont deliver..

My facts are right. Unfortunately, it's people like you that are so narrow-minded and very much oblivious to the lingering problems from the past that you blame the current president for them. Your biased opinion shows that you must be related to one of the sorry-assed past presidents. PEACE

Hafa!

Its truly it could be debated as we consider the past administrations and of the issues, however, not to swing sides with any admin, at home, I feel most of us face the burden as one would say, in our face.

But then sir, I would ask, issues aside, is the state of the republic better off then before? Has the current Admin, be the exemplary to all the rest? Sir, I think not. We have been to endure hardship of plain and simple rule bending tactics of immense proportions. Acts of injustice is plain as my water bill to even mute my voice.

There are cries within each rest area that we silently complain and hope that our cries will not venture further than Ngerulmud or else the choke hold will be upon us, Oh how could this be! I would consider all the triumphs that we have made and it hurts even to see that we were the best nation to rise to Independence out of all Micronesia but today sir, I think we have taken not a step but a leap backwards and its the dark ages again that lay in our future.

My fellow brothers and sisters, come home, lets face our battles head on and restore our lives with our families once again to were it use to be, the love of happiness and not the struggle of days.

Perhaps Palawada, you were abused by your parents for you to use such foul language. Such a shame that thin blood runs within you because Palauans don't talk to other Palauans like that. I'm going to take a guess and ASSume that you're uneducated, a menace to society, living off of other people's money, probably drinking every night like there's no tomorrow and you might also have an illness for your excessive drinking. Are you really a Palauan or a wanna be? All I see is a person who is dissatisfied with their life and taking their anger out on other people. Obviously a btim a dictate what your head says. Stay away from Palau politics. You don't know what you're saying because your brain a mui ra dach. Freaking LOL man!!!

I know enough to know better than you, unlike you who is blind to even look far and beyond. Are you related to Palawada? Go figure. Why do you think you know what's going on in Palau when you're not even in Palau? At least I go Palau often enough. Quit becoming another menace like Palawada and pursue what you went to Hawaii to pursue.

Please first of all, I'm not narrow-minded...second, when Pres T was elected he wasn't doing his job as a President, he was to busy accusing the last former President and his cabinet of not doing their job. I guess he did that just because he didn't know what the hell he was doing. I do know for a fact that both the Former President Nakamura and Remengesau are educated honest and loyal leaders who did make a difference in our country. Being that Palau has a democratic system, the administration will always have issues. In addition, even till this day the U.S. still has issues in the administration department. So what makes you think Palau will start off fresh and not have issues...Do keep in mind that Palau is the youngest country to be independent and adopted the democratic system we will always have issues in the government, the only way to fix those issues within our country is to elect true leaders who are there for the people and our country. Furthermore, if you were to go back and do your research compare what Former President Nakamura and Remengesau accomplished during their term and compare it Pres T. They did more then what he is doing now. It's sad...Just accept it.

As you are a supporter of both past presidents, you will always defend them and the deeds they have done to Palau. At the same time you are blind to the deeds that the current president has done. This is normal for a person who has biased opinions. I never said Palau will start off fresh with no issues. The last I checked, the current president is also educated, honest and loyal to his country. Talk about honesty, do you even want to go there? Have you seen the newspapers lately? Maybe you should. Find out how much Tommy has to pay back because he lied. And this is not old news. FACE the facts.
I mean, PLEASE!!!

Yes "the last you checked," was only in your mind...Sure you call him HONEST when he was accused of "sexually harassing," a young Palauan woman? AND on top of that, the young woman came out public about that incident... hahahaha....oh well guess that's where Palau stands now huh? the minds of people like you. As for Tommy, they dropped his charges...come on now...you sure you know how to read? I hope your not getting education in Guam...cause if you are? then damn! that sucks!!!! Speaking of education, yes he (current president) is educated "only in the law department," but as a leader I don't see the leadership in him AT ALL!!! Ok now time for you to headout now and go STUDY!!! buhahahaha

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
