CO892: Boarding denial of President Remengesau explained

So many people thought Remengesau was too stuck up, I don't think so. Would they have said the same thing about Bush had it happened to him?

This is not about TR, it's about the Palau as a soverign Nation. The fact that the Country is small doesn't mean that we don't have right. As a head of the Country TR should have been given a special treatment and I thank the Pilippine for their their service. Continental, we will make it with or without you!

I am from palau and proud to be.
I believe that everyone who are boarding any airline are subject to be frisk or to go through the screening process for security purpose.
But as a head of any Country, courtesy and respect is a must.With both party comming up with some form of agreement or waiver to avoid such shameful act, this issue could have been avoided.
Not to mention the bomb threat that turn the airline back to manila.Considering the other few people who were in that same plane.
The continental officials should have handled this situation in a much more professional way.Ofcourse they were already informed that the President of Palau will be flying with them that day.
What a shame...
