Well I think that the JF-17 and Su-30 both are dangerous..... is that the JF-17 is a much maneuverable aircraft..... While the Su-30 can carry a much larger payload.....Su-30 has large body scale which cause difficulty in its maneuvers......

SU-30s are dangerous.... However.... consider a few more things that I have brought up: Sit in the seat of an JF-17.... Look back..... You can see the burner nozzle..... Rear vis on a big su-30 is limited.... The SU-30 is very large.... The JF-17 isn't.... That few seconds or less benefit could make the difference.... even if both sides have HOBS heaters..... Which brings up another point.... Almost any jet is dangerous in WVR, with HOBS/helmet/heaters..... Especially the new gen ones.....

In the end it will come down to pilots JF-17 pilot if comes to c Su-30 on radar & in its range can make life miserable for Su-30.... The bigger u r the bigger is the word TARGET writen on u.... Su-30 is huge & easy target for JF-17.... JF-17 can vanish in the hilly or mountainious regions & Su-30 will have hard time finding it 1st than even harder to target it when found..... Smaller the better.....

The JF-17 with APG-80, AN/ALQ-165 and AIM-120D could even be superior to the su-30.... The su-30 has the advantage of being slightly faster.... having better endurence and being able to carry more missiles however.... And if it's armed with R-77Ms it has the advantage again.... unless the JF-17 is able to jam it.... The JF-17 has an AESA radar.... which is harder to jam and detect.... the JF-17 could be armed with long range missile.....

At last both are good and will be prove in a real combat fight....
