ACTA NON VERBA! Way to go Mele Amanaki and all those who dare to question, stand up for what they believe in...for a worthy cause...TIME for a CHANGE....

At least Mele has the courage to stand up and fight for what she believes in...whilst others can only complain, resigned to their own lot in life... and swallow the bitter seed of contention.

Prayers and heaps of emotional and moral support goes out to you Mele!

Mele is not here Uili so ai mo e angatonu pe ho fehu'i kia Mele hmmmmmmmmmmm?

ANYWAY UILI...what the blazes is wrong with having women in parliament or a representation of women in government? The men in parliament and for that matter, seem to farking up alot, maybe women...there are lots of competent tongan women out there who would be great representatives of the people. Dont you think?
WELL...I am quite sure you are going to come back again with your caveman views and say something outdated about women and their roles in society....
The world has moved forward Uili, and so should you...in your way of thinking...lol

Uili, I surely am curious about your attitude towards women and how you see women and their so called...societally etched out roles.
Uili if you had daughters of your own, would you encourage them to think for themselves or to just follow along and do as they are told without question?
Uili if you had daughters would you encourage them to seek out their goals and dreams, to define themselves, to make their own mark in this world etc?
Uili if you had daughters, and/or one of your daughters or even a granddaughter said to you.. "Dad(Grandpa...lol)when I grow up I want to be the first tongan female Prime Minister..back home in Tonga."

What would be your response? Nevermind Uili, I think you already gave the answer you would give your daughters/granddaughters...

"...ha'u 'o tafa to'o ho manu kae 'oatu ha'o laho iuviiii."

Nice going Uili...you deserve the Cave Man of the Year Award.

Absolutely lowest of its kind, this kind of dirt, uneducated, which I don't understand how did you came to be in this life. Its look like that you happened to be here by accident or unintentional. Therefore, you got nothing to contribute, but continue to criticizing the action of people like Mele and others who are trying to make a difference in society.

Please Uili go back to school, he 'oku lahi pe 'a e ngaahi kalasi 'oku lele 'i he taimi po'uli. Pea ka 'ikai lava ia pea ke vakai atu 'a e ako hiva 'a e potungaue talavou 'a e siasi 'o Rev Langi Fine.

I vouch for you Mele and others in Tonga who are trying your very best to make a different. Tonga will be a better place with quality character such as yours and the like.

I am hoping that you won't expose yourself in this manner that you show here infront of your family, as I am sure that they will be very disappointed.

But if the language that you are using here is the normal conversation that your family use every day, then I won't blame you.

Uili, you sure show a very erroneous and limited view about what the CEDAW is all about, let alone what Mele and the rest of the Tongan Women's Congress is representing. The more you speak like a "woman hater",...a misogynist.. the more you stand to convince anyone that you believe women should only be kept barefoot and pregnant...ALL the time. C'mon Uili, Gay and Lesbian marriage is NOT the underlying platform represented by the Tongan Women's Congress, but better/equal representation of Women and Children..and the rest of society...Government Accountability,Transparency, Good Governance et cetera....

I think a misrepresentation of the CEDAW..The UN's Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)... is and has been running rampant with misinformation.. in

Tonga's parliament...lol Another means of holding the populace at a misguided level...uninformed and what not, about how women, children, the old and infirmed and those marginalized in society can benefit by revisiting and reforming revising legislation that may inherently be discriminatory to women...children and the whole spectrum of society's citizens.

Parliament's refusal to ratify the CEDAW(AT THIS TIME as it was stated...but hopefully they really reconsider this..) bespeaks of its attempt to turning a blind eye and deaf ear to Women's, Children...and Societal issues.

To prove your point that Faifekau Langi Fine is or was committing this crime, can you name the victim, and if you can't, then may I suggested to you and the like, to discuss the topic at hand, and either you support it or bring constructive criticism in order for each and everyone here to learn something.
