Perhaps they will now have the time to investigate crime. Given that the Solomons is rated as the second most corrupt country in the Pacific region, the AFP seem to be remarkably under employed. One must imagine that the barely competent Australian Government wants to protect the billions it throws at the hill in Honiara. The concept seems to be, pay a thief enough so he doesn't steal!

A nation of thieves and liars???? not completely true; to paraprase Lincoln - some are thieves and liars all of the time, all are thieves and liars some of the time, it takes a politician to be a thief and a liar all of the time. The AFP, long known as Australia's Fattest Police, couldn't catch a cold and RAMSI spends too much time playing political games with locals who run rings around them. Adept locals don't want to remove their fingers from the till - hem save stori lele bet fo kepim evry samting blo iu me nao, my karange!
Lookim iu lo haus blo Jesus lo weken!
