I have a complete set of Polaris saucepans + a frying pan which all came with s/s lids and handles, ie; no problems. I also have a set of AGA saucepans which as it happens, their lids all fit the respectively same size saucepans which can be quite useful! I hope this may be of some help to some people out there. Sorry, can't help with the plastic handles I'm afraid.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a replacement small handle for the bottom pan for the triple steamer. I have owned this excellent product for nearly 30 years.

We bought our original set in Mercers in Blackburn in 74 during the next couple of years we bought the full range, used pretty much daily they are still pretty much perfect. Shame they have gone out of business, but I guess they didn't move with the times. These are the Rolls Royce of pans - if there is such a thing. Thanks to those at Polaris for producing such great products and to Mercers for advising us to buy them in the first place.

With all this discussion for spare parts for those excellent pans from Polaris, I would have thought that the tooling for these moulded phenolic handles must be somewhere or perhaps the supplier to Polaris is/ was a Norwegian firm, does anyone know? WE are in the same position lovely pans, crumbling knobs and handles. I'll join the queue if anyone will make them.

Hi. I noticed your question about knobs for Polaris saucepans. I am in Auckland and have the same problem. Did you find out where these knobs are available? Thanks.

I cant help with getting new handles but just to add to the tales of woe - am on a similar quest. at the moment trying to get a woodturner to make new handles and some one to do the metal work to attach it to the pan. Cant think of anyway to solve the situation! will keep checking though.
