kobadger wrote: In case you missed my point, your scenario about Mexico and their oil becoming tied up in the event of an attack is exactly why the U.S. has not only oil reserves but known locations that are rich with oil right here at home yet are NOT allowed to be drilled...yet!! There IS a very specific reason for this. And that reason has nothing to do with Mexico. I live in Fl and they wanted to drill off shore oil rigs here but it is an environmental issue to do so. Plus when your in the military unless you have to know something you aren't told. They tend to treat you like mushrooms. They keep you in the dark and feed you poo.

And what Ranger Battalion did YOU serve with? Was it the 2nd (2/75th)out at Ft. Lewis Washington state? How about the 1st(1/75th) out at Ft. Stewart Georgia Hunter Army Airfield? I know you didn't serve with the 3rd (3/75th)out at Ft. Benning Georgia. How about YOU tell ME YOUR version about how it all went down with the "School of the Americas" out at Benning. Ya know since you have so much "insight" and never mind the fact that I WAS THERE..I want YOUR version!! Let's back up for a second and try this again ok. Who is it that is REALLY "kept in the dark"? If Mexico were attacked there would be oil rigs off the coast of Fl. TOMORROW MORNING!! YOU trying to argu with ME about Mexicos fate should they be attacked is like ME trying to argue with NASA about their MARS mission!! Friend take some advise ok,you can NOT sell me what I already have!! I have the TRUTH about what we would and would NOT do should Mexico come under attack.

You should have seen us dancing in the streets this summer when the Georgia Supreme Court rulled against them in their efforts to thwart 287g. It left La Raza's Atlanta chapter destitute, bankrupt and best of all LEAVING!! LOLo-What are all of those ex-La Raza groupies going to do now?

Perhaps you know, who can say for sure but I can tell you this if Mexico were to be attacked there would be an out cry from American citizens. I could care less WHO owened Mexico. Mexico has fought only ONE war since they became a country in 1821. That war was with us and they LOST that one lol. Back in 1848. Mexico is NOT in the business of war anylonger lol! The only place an attack on Mexico would come from would be from another L.American country anyway. As far as the happenings at the "School of Americas" goes,it's really not important as we trained what were meant to be "communist killers". What those soldiers did with their training once they got back home is on them.

Do you even know what Army Rangers truely are?? Google the term "Ambush Killers" will ya. That is our "signature"...our sole purpose for being if you will. That may very well be why there is only ONE Regiment of Rangers broken down into 3 Battalions. I was with the 3rd. Look up the term and educate yourself.

Well you have just answered your OWN question. I am not saying you or any one elese is stupid but due to the unit I served with(3/75th) and the location(Ft.Benning Ga.) I have more "first hand" info than the average person as to just what steps the United States would take should Mexico ever be attacked. You're a funny dude, badger. Throwing out the old military units and your "first hand" knowledge as if you knew the Single Integrated Operational Plans (SIOPs) for U.S. nuclear strategy. Reminds me of a guy I worked with once who claimed to have been a Navy Seal. I asked him which BUD/S class he graduated from and he threw out a number. When asked where he did his INDOC he said Parris Island, SC. Obviously, he had never even heard of the Naval Special Warfare Center at Coronado, CA. The opposite of him was a Gunny Sgt buddy of mine in the Corps, Medal of Honor winner, who never once mentioned anything about his military experiences. Actually was embarassed about it. Refused all the perks that go with the award like having a band play and he review the troops upon arrival at a new base. That's the way real heros act. Why don't you take your G I Joe toys and go home?

I'm not embarrassed about MY service or MY Unit. Here is a hint though that might help ya trip any wana be up. Ask any wana be Ranger how they got their tab. Did they get it from RIP or from Ranger School. Do ya know that one slick? Ya get the "Tab" from Ranger school. Ask em if havin the Tab makes them a Ranger. The answer is NO it does NOT. A Ranger Scroll designates a Ranger in an active Ranger Unit and a Ranger Tab only means that who ever is wearing it graduated Ranger School. No small feat in itself. It's HARDER and LONGER than RIP!! You're barking up the wrong tree slick. I earned MY Ranger Scroll. Sua Sponte!!!

Hey listen "Crackers" why don't we try this again ok. I was NOT trying to say anyone on here is stupid. I was only using MY military experience to validate or drive home the fact that "hey..I just MIGHT have a different angle on a lot of this than some" I'm NOT in the habbit of throwing my service around. If I were out to write "fiction" man I could have come up with a lot more than just being in a Ranger Unit right lol!! There ARE more "high speed units" out there. Not MANY but some lol!! Don't take my post so personal will ya? I'm NOT out to get ya. By the way. I did in fact become a proud United States Army Ranger at the Age of 17. On 18 June 1988. I served with the 75TH Ranger Regiment,3rd. Ranger Battalion out at Ft. Benning Georgia for 3 yrs. I also jumped into Panama during "Operation Just Cause" 20 Dec 1989 and returned back to Benning 3 days prior to my 19th birth-day. All those hints I gave ya are real ways to trip any wana be's up.

Maybe I misread you, badger. I get worked up when I think somebody is bragging about how smart he is or how bad he is. I'm too old to fight over shit like this anyway. Thanks for your service, especially Just Cause and Noriega's capture. I spent 14 months with a JUSMAG unit in Vietnam and am still pissed about losing 58,000 troops, not to mention some good friends, for what?
I'm done "badgering" you now. Gonna mix up a couple of huge margaritas and see if the old lady gets frisky.

As a Ranger we did a lot of training with Air Force CCT's or Combat Controlers. We also rely very heavily on the AC-130 Gunship as well. No hard feelings. I rarely mention my service unless it comes up with others or I catch someone claiming something I know they have no right to claim. My Uncle Mike was in Vietnam. He came back the year I was born in 1971. Thanks again!! Sua Sponte 3/75th!!!

Get the US special forces to go down to Juarez or any of the main cities where all the violence is happening. Give these guys authority to target practice as much as they feel like on drug dealers. Give them a $1000 bonus for each clown clocked.
This is one way. The other way is to flood the Mexican cities with free firearms. Put out fliers that give rewards to the general population.$1000 per dead drug dealer. You might clean the place up really fast.
For the cheap fee of say $1000/head. I'm thinking we could open up Drug Dealer Hunting Season to all the American Deer Hunters. These guys would gladly go out and shoot a few.
That's a great idea Brain.

Think about this. You empower the Mexican people to bring criminals to justice. You give them guns. You all of the sudden bring freedom to the oppressed. They get tired of all the drug BS. They go after the drug dealers. Yes, 1 person against the drug dealers is probably not going to do it. A whole country against the drug dealers (aka The Government). You are looking at a different movie now.

The only difference is they can NOT own 9mm because that is a military round. They can own .45s or any other handgun though. They can also own assault weapons as well. They need to forget the drug lords, they need to turn the weapons on that f##kin society of elites that whorde all the country's wealth. They should have a revolution and take back their own country.

I searched for this National Story on the MarinIJ homepage and Nada. Don't they give us countless sob stories about Illegals, Yet nothing for the good men and women protecting our borders. MAY Justice be SERVED for one MURDERED BORDER AGENT!!! Shame on you IJ, Liberal Retards. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,576028,00 ... “SAN DIEGO — A 17-year-old pleaded guilty Friday to killing a Border Patrol agent who was shot eight times while chasing suspected illegal immigrants in the mountains east of San Diego. Christian Daniel Castro Alvarez said he lured Agent Robert Rosas out of his car last July 23 and struggled over his gun during a robbery attempt, the U.S. attorney's office said. The attack sparked a massive search on both sides of the border in rugged terrain strewn with white boulders that is popular with illegal immigrants and marijuana smugglers. Castro Alvarez was charged as an adult after surrendering Aug. 14 at the San Ysidro border crossing connecting San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. "Today's guilty plea makes it clear that those who harm our brave men and women in uniform will be swiftly brought to justice and punished," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said.”
