No one wants to see muslim's move into their country, neighborhoods or any where close to where they live. Muslims can scream to the top of their lungs about how peaceful they are and how non-threatening they are but the facts are the facts. To stereotype the world largest religion based on a very small percentage of views is insane. If you would take the time to open your mind and do the research you will see that Muslims are a religion of peace. As a Muslim, I have never bombed anyone and know no one that has ever committed and act of violence in our community. I have paid more taxes in America that you will probably make in 2 lifetimes. I am working on a company that will bring over 2500 jobs to Nicaragua.

It seems that the little Pinolero country needs fewer corrupt politicians, as do most nations including the US. It is not the masses but a select few who do all the harm in a political system such as is the case in Nicaragua. Islam, Christianity, any religion not present in this hemisphere prior to 1492 is that of invading peoples so join the club and in the end, as Nicas like to say on occasion " We have no problems here, only solutions.."

I prefer the Jewish people coming to Nicaragua over Islam...sorry, a more open-minded people and fighters of civil rights...now that is history.

you guys are merely missing the point. The issue here is not whether or not the muslim religion is peaceful or deadly. But, rather why are they moving into Nicaragua? Doesn't matter what religion it is no religion should move in there and build their mosques or churches there. I have been to Nicaragua multiple times to aid at their hospitals and the last thing they need is another group of people telling them what to. This is the exact problem they had a couple decades ago with the Sandinistos who were influenced by there close allies Russia and turned the country into communist and of corruption and death. They do not need an mosques this would be a road in the wrong direction.

I am not against freedom of religion, but muslims are pretty extremists, they don't have a separation of church and government. Everything they do is guided by their religion which is a terrible thing to do. I am afraid that Nicaragua is a little too opposite to what they are and represent. It would not agree with muslims laws, and I hope they don't try to change anything in Nicaragua, because it won't work. We are what we are, you like it, good, you don't, good bye.

You did read the topic of this forum right?...Muslims building mosques in Nicaragua. They want to build a place of worship. This has what to do with your misconstrued theory of Islam, if your not against freedom of
religion? Just as an FYI, the correct terminology is separation of church and state. Not all countries, not religions, practice this due to the fact that OUR founding fathers created this concept for America, other counties did decided to adopt this political and legal concept, however there are a bunch of secularized countries out there, and not all are of Islamic Religion. Also, there are secular private schools here in America, i.e.; Catholic Schools. Every religion is driven and guided by their religion..10 commandments ring a bell? Everyone is entitled not to agree with certain aspects of other religions, but that does not mean that muslims should not be allowed to build a place to practice their beliefs. How would that change anything in Nicaragua? They are currently practicing in the privacy of their homes. Also as an FYI, the muslim population is not that large, app. 1500. What could they possibly change? At most, is a place of worship, BIG DEAL.
