Full story: Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Ensconced in the mountains near Honduras, ousted President Manuel Zelaya struggled Monday to galvanize poor farmers, teachers and street activists into a movement strong enough to overcome his foes and sweep him back into office.

Looks like Zelaya lacks support from Hondurans. The only support he has is from Alba Dictators and some International leaders. I can't see him coming back to be re-instated as the Prez without actual support from free-willed Hondurans and not the ones who are getting paid to protest.

Robert,

As I have said before, if he came back as president can you imagine any circumstances under which he could effectively govern?

Well the latest about him coming back legally is Congress passed it on to the Supreme Court today to decide. Micheletti said he would present it to Congress. I think this was a good move because it let's the world know the democratic system is still alive and well in Honduras. How can Hillary try to tell the elected officials in Honduras how to decide on Zelaya. As a mediator she should be neutral.

I know that this forum is about Honduras but, since you brought it up, I would just say that many people have misgivings about Hillary's agenda.

I most certainly do John...I think that the Obama and Hillary alliance tells us that the US is for sale to the highest communist bidder...they slobber over China and Cuba but stab Honduras who has been an ally for over a 100 years in the back...hmm how backwards does that sound? Donīt bet that the US isnīt headed down the same shaky path.

Make no mistake, the health care system in the United States is devastatingly broken but, beginning with government run health care, people with good sense realize where Obama is headed.

It's like on of those crime shows on TV where the defense lawyer tries to convince you that you didn't see what you know that you really did see!

In other words, smoke and mirrors, a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Inteligents Honduran people, have not forgotten Nicaraguan,s history in the hands of communist. Nicaragua have thirty years of poor governmental management, corruption, violation of human right, wicked politician, ignorance
, poverty etc. Therefore, don't close your eye Honduran if you don't want to go backward.

The health care system in the US is not broken, It just costs more than it should. Unfortunately the proposed changes, do noting to fix that problem. The new government run system, as proposed, is at least as bought off by the special interests as what we have now and maybe more so.

With the dumbing down of the American public education system, most people wouldn't know a totalitarian government if it bit them on their collective arses - unless a t.v. personality told them it was so...

It will be interesting to see how far the Obama administration will attempt to go with the left hypnotized by their own hubris - believing they have won some kind of a final victory...
