David you're on crack. Get over it. How many inocent people are in jail not only in the USA but all over the world. The systems are not perfect. Erik is free, because the goverment wants to tell the world it is safe to come to Nicaragua. If a person suddendly dies the first suspect is people close to that person until they are found to be inocent. Maybe Erik was guilty and got away with murder, maybe not, maybe he was innocent all along. We'll never know, justice was served.They talk about increasing tourism in this country, then they convict an innocent person of a crime because he is from the States and when on appeal he is found innocent they refuse to release him. Sure, I'm traveling in that country.....
