are the indigenous maoris hated as much as the aborigines of australia. if so Why?

Hi, as a non Maori non European, my impression is that (currently) Maoris are much better off than Aborigins. Maoris are quite well represented in the media, politic, sport, etc.
But I don't know much about how bad Maoris were treated in the past.

I lived in New Zealand for a few years, and aside from the fact that it's the biggest shithole on the planet, the New Zealanders do indeed hate the maoris. If I had a dollar for each time I heard the term "dumb black". Any "respect" that the Maoris get these days is merely tokenism and designed to make kiwis look good to the rest of the world.

I'M Australian and have many Maoris as friends. Most Maori people work hard here in Australia and to be honest to the uneducated idiot, history shows that Maori were the only people not to be conquered by Europeans although many died. You say you're a proud Kiwi, mate you have no respect for New Zealand or what New Zealand stands for. As for the Aboriginal people here, sure they dont get a fair trial here but I am sure as time passes that will change, As it did for the Maori.

No they are not. They are not indigenous, others were here before them but they killed and ate them. There are no full Maoris left alive. There are a group of people who have Maori blood in them who like to be known as Maori. Yes, some (most) people hate the maoris becuase they're annoying with their gangsta bs, i'm not saying ALL maoris are hated, just the a-hole ones

The moari of today have become anoying screwed criminals. There is currently news in NZ that police have raided possible terrorist camps, why raid them, because they had Military Weapons in them, and they were getting trained with them. Of cause, they Moaris call us racist for raiding them etc etc.

They're also the ones dividing New Zealand, they want the Maori Flag to fly on the Habour Bridge... why the hell should it? Our flag should symbalise us as one, not to differant ones, if they fly the Moari flag I will fly the European flag.

The younger ones are also especially anoying, my son tells me stories like, you line up at the cafteria (at school) in 10th place, but before you know it atleast 15 moaris have just pushed in.

Yes we hate Moari's - the only good thing they've done is bring in some tourist, but they're also driving them away by stealing cars etc.

Bring back the good old days when there were less of them and you could leave your keys in your car while you went shopping and so on......
