Teen who fatally stabbed man not guilty of murder

That basterd should have gotten murder, all the news articals would make any person unrelated to the case think that it is murder.

The a-holes age was proberbly a factor in trhe virdict, but seriously 14 or 40 you wil know the concequences of stabbing someone, especiay in the ribs. What mron dosent know that the ribs protect the bodys most vital organs.

To be honest i have a biast view on this case, Shayne walker was and still is my best friend and i was one of the witnesses in the trial.

I am disusted in todays legal system. Kalem Ames has a violent past, his ex girlfriend is also one of my best friends and i knw for a fact she suffered from his violence first hand.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS JUSTICE IN NEW ZEALAND

What was a 22 year old doing hanging around with 13 to 15 year old kids. A lot of lies were told in court by the immature young people giving evidence. (Who were caught out lying in both trials). That is why the jury came to the conclusion of not guilty. Violent past for the offender get real. Lie detectors weren't needed in this case cause all their stories didn't add up. YOU ALL KNOW WHO DID THE LYING.....

Who picked up the knife and stabbed my son in the back from behind....IT WAS KALEM AMES....the coward a***wipe.....how do you try and scare someone by stabbing them from behind, and then had the cheek to say he didn't mean to KILL Shayne...

There weren't any lies told in the trial...if Kalem was so innocent why didn't he take the stand...You know why.!!!! It would be a clear case of MURDER...and not Manslaughter...

As far as I am concern KALEM AMES is a MURDERER and nothing else, I would like to see what you would of thought if it was my son stabbing Kalem in the back to scare him...see if you would think if it was manslaughter....

Nah I not all shit and no I am not his mother or father. It was the jury 12 very independant people who listened to what the witnesses?? had to say. That is why they came to the conclusion NOT GUILTY of MURDER. It wasn't only Kalems father who supplied the 4 under aged kids with alcohol what about the mother who dropped her son off with a 40 ounce and box of cody's.
And yes the situation could of been easily reversed.

jorgigirl put yourself in Shayne's family shoes and then tell me if it wasn't MURDER especially when Kalem acted the scene out before he went out and killed my son then try to get rid of forensic evidence by burning the knife (unless you think what kalem said in his statement is lie as well) I don't think so....

If you still think it's not murder then you are just as callous as Kalem is as well...he took a life and you and his family think that is alright to do this....

How do you justify that?? Over what?? HE TOOK A LIFE MY SON'S LIFE...
