The problem here is not the travel to Paris. It is the fact that he wasn't at the meeting, the reason we paid for his trip to Brussels in the first place.

So if he's not doing his job (must say I haven't seen anything come out of his involvement in parliament), why is he even on the payroll?

Great lark, eh? Gotta love that MMP....

The MMP system fails to acknowledge the line between a politican and an activist such as Hone Harawira.

Wait until the day we have the Hon Prime Minister Tama Iti or the Hon Prime Minister Willy Jackson.

With the MMP system still around thats a very real possibility. MMP allows anyone to walk in off the street and apply for an important Government job.

Yes Steve, must be a whole bunch of them that can't sleep at night....perhaps this is the best explanation yet for the high crime stats!

Bah, never mind old Hone. It is that worthless Joris de Bres who is really crying out for a dose of reality.

Nope i'm staying here. Thanks to your mate Hone, it looks like white people are starting to get sick of you cu*ts and now your reign of terror will come to a close over the next few decades.

Though I must admit, Phil Goff would more than likley be lined up against a wall and shot before Hone gets ousted from the Maori party.

Without so much as a shred of remorse (or regret, for that matter), and not even the slightest bit of wriggling attempted. What a farce.

Just the other day the Govt agreed to fly the Tinorangatiratanga flag from the Beehive on national holidays and it's not even a Maori culture flag!

It's an activist flag.

So where to from here? Do we just accept the fact that John Key is a push over nancy boy who is going to have handed around 15% of the country over to Maori by the end of his first term? I think all it will take is for the first NZ European or maybe even a Maori or some other race to stand up and say this is wrong and start a save NZ movement. Because in my community of Blenheim, I can tell you the tension is thick. We are just waiting for someone to make the first move.

Not really Kate. The entire maori gravy train is fueled by past grievances, so with that in mind, how can they have a flag? When the Europeans arrived, they had no flags, they did not even have cloth. So the whole flag issue is really a moot point, considering they whine about the past, well fine and dandy, but be consistent. There were no maori flags in the past.
As for John Key, he is a good politician and probably a really nice guy, but he does not represent mainstream New Zealand and he is not what we wanted. After Helens red reign of terror, we wanted things to swing back to the right and regain a balance. It appears as if Key, has no intention of doing this.
Now days Labour and National are just like howling cats late at night, you can never quite figure out if they are fighting or copulating.

Perfect metaphor there, PC.

Kate: Offensive or not, SkyZ's post is reflective of a very common sentiment amongst non-Maori (and quite a few Maori too, I'd suggest). Throughout the country. Sad, too. It would be much better if we could all just get along. What's more sad, it seems we never will.

You yourself said in another post that Maori seem to be afforded a more privileged position in this country. And I'd even agree that it's warranted, to a point. But whether it's warranted or not, the fact is that they have been receiving more and more privilege over the last twenty odd years. But there has been an ever increasing demand for more over that same time. And strangely enough, a disappointing increase in Maori representation in all the bad statistics (such as crime, family violence, unemployment, poor health and education) has occurred during the corresponding period.

Seems to me that many Maori will not be happy until they are running the country, in full charge of the chequebook, and making 'whitey' pay through the nose for injustices of the distant past.

In all seriousness though bud, things are getting dire.
If these new climate change laws go through, the ensuing taxes will crush us.
Political correctness is growing ever more virulent, even though the vast majority are disgusted by it.
White people are being victimized at ever level and even though we are the overwhelming victims of interracial crime, we are treated as pariahs and the concept of anti-White racism is still viewed as unbelievable.

All of these things have been going on for a while, what is most disturbing, is that we have no defense in New Zealand. Nobody is standing up for us. It is high time a voice of reason was raised and some clear simple facts were laid out.
For the time being Winston Peters will have to do. Love him or hate him, he is the only one talking sense. Maybe he could smarten up and start attacking political correctness. With the right resources it would not be a tough fight. PCs marxist roots are well documented, as are the near 200 million deaths caused by marxism.
As soon as PC is removed from the equation we can start moving forward once more.

How does one go about setting up a "Sensible Party"? How much moolah do you reckon would be needed to get adequate exposure ? Probably need to get a serious backer. The country is calling out for a fresh approach in my estimation.......

Look at the British National Party. They have achieved huge things since Nick Griffin took over, got rid of the racist nonsense and started addressing realistic issues. They operate on a shoe string budget and have made real progress. Over 100 elected officials, 2 members of European parliament and tipped to get their first MPs at the next election.
Their largest single donor has contributed a paltry 38,000 quid. They waged a massive campaign for the European elections, yet did so on a budget of 300,000 odd. Most of the finances come from members and small fund raisers. The state is so worried about the BNP they fund a semi terrorist organization called the UAF, made up of marxists and islamic fanatics, that exists solely to attack the BNP.

I wouldn't think funding would be the key issue, rather the initial task would be getting the message across and counteracting the undoubted media driven hysteria.
A lot of folks are ready to see the majority catered to once more. Once people got over the shock and realized a new party that actually cared about them was around, then adequate operating funds would be provided.

Whether the excesses of the past few days are catching up with you or you're feeling drained for other reasons, you need as much rest as possible today. Once you get tired, your defenses will be down and you'll start to fret about whatever is currently nagging away at the back of your mind. You're also concerned about the welfare of a certain person, which doesn't help.
