1 The world is already controlled by America and the EU who combine for 26 trillion GDP annually, not to mention their 30-50 trillion in assets. Muslims in Europe are merely workers seeking to make lives for themselves. They don't have the 'power' to take over. |

1 It's not their power to "take over," it's their power to destroy that worries most people. |

I couldn't agree more! I didn't realize that in Seattle you are having major problems with muslims. Americans (rightly) say that Europeans need to get their acts together. |

We really need to tell our stupid PC politicians to wake up. Because I'm telling you I know a lot of people that are so pissed of with the way our government has been giving in so much to the muslims. One more terrorist attack and there will be a lot of pissed off people here. |

1 Americans and Europeans, as well as Asians and other countries need to get their acts together in order to keep the freedoms that we all enjoy and not have it eroded by someon'e beliefs. |

Hi, anonymous...It's expected to come out this week. The film is now finished and will be made available shortly. For now there are reported riots about the film in the middle east, and it hasn't even come out yet... |

You average Joes & Jans from America & EU should 1st point your accusative fingers at your leaders. They made economic production more important than your ethnic cultures. American & EU deregulation & globalization PUSHED by big business and political elites to benefit corporations & financial firms required cheap labor at home. In America, it meant dropping border control to flood the labor market with illegal immigrants. In EU, it meant bringing in low wage laborers to live at standards below which common ethnic Europeans would live.
If someone looks at Egypt, you'll see its main trading partners Exports - commodities: crude oil and petroleum products, cotton, textiles, metal products, chemicals Exports - partners: Italy 12.1%, US 11.3%, Spain 8.7%, UK 5.5%, France 5.4%, Syria 5.1%, Saudi Arabia 4.3%, Germany 4.2%(2006) Imports: $40.48 billion f.o.b.(2007 est.) Imports - commodities: machinery and equipment, foodstuffs, chemicals, wood products, fuels Imports - partners: US 11.4%, China 8.3%, Germany 6.6%, Italy 5.4%, Saudi Arabia 5%, France 4.6%(2006) Egypt has 80.3 million people but only 431.9 billion GDP (parity) and per capita income of 5400 (USD). In comparison, Greece has 10.7 million a GDP of 326.4 billion, per capita income of 30,500. Denmark has a pop of 5.4 million, GDP of 204.6 billion, and a per capita of 37,400. The Netherlands has 16.6 million, a GDP of 638.9 billion, and per capita of 38,600. But most of the Muslims in Europe are not from Egypt. They are from Morocco and Algeria. Let's look at Morocco. population: 33.76 million GDP: 127 billion per capita income: 3800 Unemployment: 15%(but over 20% unofficially) Govt budget revenue of 19.39 billion and expenditures of 21 billion (there are individuals in EU and America that have larger revenue than the entire Moroccan govt). Exports: $12.73 billion f.o.b.(2007 est.) Exports - commodities: clothing and textiles, electric components, inorganic chemicals, transistors, crude minerals, fertilizers (including phosphates), petroleum products, citrus fruits, vegetables, fish Exports - partners: Spain 20.6%, France 20.5%, UK 4.8%, Italy 4.7%, India 4%(2006) Imports: $22.15 billion f.o.b.(2007 est.) Imports - commodities: crude petroleum, textile fabric, telecommunications equipment, wheat, gas and electricity, transistors, plastics Imports - partners: France 17.5%, Spain 13.9%, Saudi Arabia 6.9%, China 6.9%, Italy 6.3%, Germany 6%(2006 . [Source: CIA World Factbook] There are common trends to be ascertained here. Morocco doesn't trade with Egypt or Algeria, it trades with EU nations for all of it needs, w/ China and India included. This is the trend throughout the Middle East & North Africa. The EU & USA are the dominant partners & providers of Muslim needs whereas these nations are unable to provide them for themselves. Why? Why does the same economic relationship from the colonial era between colonizer & colony exist today supposedly 50 years after the end of colonialism? Why haven't Muslim nations been able to develop manufacturing and technological capabilities independent of EU & American dominance? The answer falls that Muslim nations are ruled by dictatorships and authoritarian regimes who are detrimental to their own people's interests but subservient and subjugated to the interests of the West. King Muhammad VI of Morocco was reported by Le Monde to have billions in personal wealth in America and EU and over 20 palaces in Morocco. It really becomes obvious here. If Europeans want to get rid of Muslims, then make your leaders to stop supporting the Muslim dictatorships that cater to EU interests. Then, when Muslims run their own nation, Muslims in EU will return to their homelands to rebuild. They'd much rather be there anyways. However, keep these ruthless pathetic thugs in power and you will have increased numbers of Muslims trying to follow their king's wealth to the EU and America. |

@Osama:
That's an expectional amount of text you've planted here. Now let's talk about safety of our citizens who dared to have opened their mouths and critisize Islam. Let's talk about Dutch filmaker Theo van Gogh. Let's talk about the large amount of threats that current politician Geert Wilders is being subjected to, for opening his mouth. Let's talk about Ayaan Hirsch Ali, an ex-Dutch politician currently residing in the US. Let's talk about British citizens having to give in because their governemt is so terrified of offending muslims. Let's talk about New York 9/11. Let's talk about London 7/7, the Madrid bombings, the attack of the US embassy in Sudan...The peaceloving citizens of the Netherlands and Denmark has never felt the heat breathing in their necks from so close by, by muslim fanatics that want to destroy our way of life. Your facts and figures that you have posted here, Osama, are totally off-topic. |

So now you want us to overthrow these governments? Make up your mind. And what do you suggest we do to get rid of such rulers? Is it our job to do this? Or is it the job of the people living there to do it? And what will replace it? Some fanatical theocracy like Iran has? That was no solution. |

No, I said stop your own rulers from protecting and supporting the Muslim regimes. America effectively props up the Jordanian and Egyptian regimes with its billions annually which in turn go to military development (aka, generals' Swiss bank accts). And of course America is stationed in the Emirates protecting them. And America gave billions to Musharraf likewise millions to others.
I'm saying: Get out of there. Divorce yourself from the oppressive Muslim regimes removing political/strategic/military interests from foreign economic activities. Don't be associated with oppressors. You don't have to overthrow anyone because we know how that works out. America and EU have been doing that for decades. |

And if we stop, what do you think will happen? It will be nasty civil wars won't there? And who will emerge as the leaders? Most likely thugs that are little different than those who are there now. And just backing out cold turkey will cause a huge collapse of society. Most likely the Muslim Brotherhood will cease control in Egypt. Saudi will not fair much better. Is this your solution? I would think that the solution would be to put pressure on the current governments to make changes... like elections so people can vote the laws and what they want. Seems to me that the people of the countries should be the ones to decide the change they want. Not those of us who do not live there… not you or me. It’s a tough situation. I surely don't have the answers. |
