Namibia - a black majority nation, right? Good, logical and fair ruling by a court of law. Good deeds go unnoticed. Just let there be a fas paux, vultures will decend and point out black stupidity and black ignorance. I bet this will be the last post on this thread...

Have done a little bit of looking on this Namibia thing...should namibia be on my real estate radar at all? Thinking about a second home for a few months a year. I see these namibia real estate websites. Not sure what to think at this point..... Absolute honesty about Namibia would be appreciated. If it matters at all I'm a rather large 32 year old white american who looks like a shaven head heavyweight boxer. Write 10 pages if you need to - I really want to know.

A fantastic country with fantastic people - yip, black, white and colored folks. Lived there for 6-odd years myself. Namibia and Botswana give one a whimper of hope for a largely failed continent.

The country is not perfect - no country really is. But it contradicts every stereotype one might have about africans and an African country.
1. Country of the rule of law where independent judiciary can scrap laws passed by government if they are found to infring fundamental rights enshrined in the cosntitution.
2. The only country I know of where environmental protection is enshrined as a basic right in the constitution.
3. President Lula of Brazil describes it as a very clean country;
4. An african celebrity found that though it may be on the african continent, it is not yet an African country because there are no potholes in the roads, water, electricity and telephone services function in 95% of the vast country.
5. Africans and europeans co-exist as compatriotes with each - have runs from time time like in any family - but without making a big fuzz of it.

I expected the Namibian court to rule that these pink farmers should be given Namibian lands for free, at least to show its sympathy on them . Any thing short of that is Legal stupidity . I don't care what the pinkies call Namibia, "Heaven on earth", "African paradise", "Land of honey", "Promise land", etc, etc . Namibia is Namibia, and Zimbabwe is Zimbabwe, nothing short of that . It's only a fool who would leave a "land of honey" and decide to waste his enegy fighting to be allowed to live in the "pithole" . My Zimbabwe will never again be occupied by land thieves, that's the bottom line . The sooner pinkies accept this fact the better for them . The Land Reform act is totally irevocable, and no court of law on earth can change the popular Will of our people . Those who stole these lands may have been dead, but their children and grand children must have to return it to the owners someday, right?. This is what has happened .

I agree, Zimbabwe is a great country, and Mugabe's land reforms are 100% justified.

Will it still be a "fantastic country" to you if a land reform act meant to balance land ownership is initiated and passed by the government and paliament?.

As Namibia is now peaceful, one can see the pinkies zooming into it, to make sure they destroy it, and later blame the blackman . Pinkies will use every means in their disposal to make sure the peace and progress in Namibia is destroyed, that has been their job in Africa . So Namibians should watch it .

So says a person who now lives in the land of the ''Pinkies'' as he calls them..Why are you not back in Africa, Or is it that you don't like the ''Blackman'' running your country? Don't run away from Africa and then sit in a Pinkies land and condem those who still live in Africa, be they Pinkie or Blackman....

You sound like a baby . There are millions of pinkies living in the continent of Africa . Do they ran away because they don't want the pinkman to run their country?, I hope you can answer this question, you foolish freak .

Notice that you are a black Zimbabwean living in Spain. Would you apply the same logic to you owning property in a indigenously white country?

Zimbabweans and indeed the whole black Africans has never invaded or occupied any pinkman's country or farmland . That's the truth, we're a very peaceful people, unlike the pink West .
