Russia, Mongolia set up uranium venture

Russia and Mongolia signed a deal on Tuesday during President Dmitry Medvedev's visit to the country to set up a joint venture to mine and process uranium. "We have signed an inter-governmental agreement to establish a joint venture to develop, produce and process uranium," the head of Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Sergei Kiriyenko, told reporters.

Good for Russia for continuing to do business with her surrounding neighbors...Better that Russia be in a joint venture with Mongolia than the USA or China...

Ehhh Russia will have to choose US or China or EU in the world to come and it seems like China is the best bet. Russia simply lacks the population and the number of modern cities to make it by itself. Aside from the Fourth Rome and a few other cities what else is there but villages? I am not trying to start a fight here Steff and I am an admirer of Russia myself, but Russia is not what she used to be. To be honest I still hope we get a wise enough leader to bring Russia in to our side. In my eyes it’s the only way to solidify US hegemony over the world and permanently stalemate EU and Chinese economic and military expansion/dominance. I guess you can say I like Russia for patriotic reasons…imagine that lol.
